    Instead of doing that - check what is the reason for the AdBlue failure. First read out the error. If it is sth. about SCR system efficiency not met - then check the Adblue cat first by hitting it with gently with your hand - if it sounds like sth. is loose inside - change it. If not - read out the Nox sensor 2 if it delivers strange values (value should be 0-180mg NOX only working after coolant is 90deg celsius). If values are bad - replace it (normally you only need to replace the sensor itself, not the nox ecu). After performing the repair delete the error and perform IDE02636 SCR metering quantity test - then this limitation is gone.

    Thank you so much for posting this, eh! My friend has a POS 2013 TDI that is *just* outside of the extended provisional warranty period for these and she's not able to afford another car right now, eh. Running this procedure every 35 miles is what it takes to keep that turd -box running. Thankfully, she's expecting to get some cash soon from a deal that's been in the works for some time and she'll be able to finally get a decent vehicle. @rfsn 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      And google says..... What is an e-brake do? Your primary brakes work through a high-tech hydraulic system and are meant to slow your car to a stop. The emergency brake, on the other hand, is designed to hold your car in place. However, if your primary brakes fail, you can use the emergency brake to slow down and stop your car.

      @@rfsn It's a parking brake designed to hold the car. It is not intended to stop the vehicle but can be used in an emergency. Doesn't make it an emergency brake. I have the countdown, so I suppose I need to wait for the countdown to expire before resetting the scr lock? My warning is orange, and I have actually had this problem before, but was able to clear the entire code with my VCDS, was gone for months, then all the sudden I get the warning, but it's at like 85 miles until no-start, currently at 30 sitting in my garage. Anyways, I cant remember exactly how, but the last time this happened, I cleared the code from the "red nostart" screen. The only difference I notice is that the code last time was something like "Reductant tank temperature too low" and this time I believe it says "Reductant tank temp sensor short to ground" I should also say this current time I have gotten this issue, its been coming and going, meaning the orange wrench warning said like 85 miles, then the next time I drove it the warning was gone, vehicle drove great for a couple hundred if not thousand miles, then the orange wrench warning popped up again saying like 50 miles until no-start, went away again until where I am at currently which is 30 miles until no start. I tried clearing it last night for hours using the VCDS with no success. Im thinking I probably need to drive the 30 miles, wait for the red nostart condition and then do the scr lock reset like you just demonstrated. All of this for my actual question which is what are the odds I have a loose connection on this "reductant tank temp sensor" and its making connection when the warning dissappears, and then when it shorts to ground it comes back? Where would I look for a loose connection?

    • @rfsn
      @rfsn 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well you could very well have a sensor that's starting to flake out, I have never physically remove the adblue tank from the vehicle so I'm not sure where the sensor would be located, other than on the tank somewhere. I guess I'm not much help there. But you are correct it has to time out before resetting the scr lock and reset the kilometers, won't do it if it's still in the countdown.

      UPDATE: It seems that the ONLY solution is going to be to delete my adblue altogether🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️. For whatever reason VCDS will no longer release SCR lock. Also, swung by the stealership yesterday only to be told they wouldnt be able to do anything as the adblue parts are on backorder, told me that he couldnt even give me an ETA on when. Meanwhile my car is running out in their lot, so I asked him if they at least had a scanner that would release the SCR lock, explained to him that my VCDS will no longer do it, he immediately says "yea, no we cant really do anything" fortunately I left it running huh skip or i'd be dead in the water 100 miles from my house. I should also say I ordered an adblue heater and had replaced it myself in my driveway the night before, really not that bad of a gig, pull the bumper cover, drop the adblue tank (wish it wouldnt have been clear full) anyways this didnt do shit. Brand new adblue heater, and when the countdown didnt disappear I headed to the stealership. Anyways, I told you above what they said, and how they were ZERO help, just said its a good thing I left it running. Anyways, I drove a hundred miles back home feeling really some kinda terrible about VW and have decided my only solution at this point is going to have to be coughing up the dough, purchasing a Rawtech adblue delete and deleting the son of a bitch. No emission testing in the county I live in, however, didnt want to be polluting so was gonna try to fix it right. With VW snubbing like they did they leave me with no solution but to chip and delete.

    • @liveyourlife23

      Jennifer as long as you dont live in a place that requires emissions testing removing the system will only make your vehicle run better and much more efficient, with less chances of leaving you stranded on the side of the road. Anyways, if you live in an area that requires emission testing you will NOT be able to delete the entire system. How do you know where to adjust the two bolts that the rollers push against ? ( They thread through that gold block under the top plate )

    • @rfsn
      @rfsn 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Start by adjusting the bolts to keep the arm perfectly 90 degrees to the pump, there should be equal pressure against both rollers so as to not allow the arm to move in either direction unless it starts to compress the spring. If you don't have it correct the arm will want to engage when you are not holding it, (machine running) if it wants to take off in reverse you would then adjust bolts to push arm towards neutral. It can be a bit of a pain lifting and dropping cab untill it sits neutral with unit running. Once correctly adjusted you should be able to put mild pressure on each stick forward or reverse and not have the machine take off. Hope you can make sense of this, if not let me know I'll try explaining another way.

    How did this repair work out for you? No problems and solved the issue?

      She still going strong and no leaks. Leaking pump is the reason I pulled it and noticed the damaged shaft and bearing in the process. Thanks for watching.

    I was asked about a 325 not working in high speed, I have very little knowledge on the two speed system. The two speeds are done in the wheel motors which uses pilot pressure to shift a spool from low to high. If the pilot pressure is to low it will not shift the spool. So one thing you could test is what the pilot pressure is, I would probably not want to see less than 100 psi. Seeing it is not just one side, I would lean toward it not being the drive motors. Best I can do, Hope it helps

    Hey rusty great video, my 240 just started leaking oil from the top of the pump I saw u list some part numbers for seal kit and oil seals is it that I have to buy 2 of everything? 1 for each pump thnks in advance

    • @russfriesen286
      @russfriesen286 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes seal kit Kv24684 does one pump, times two if you are doing both. The kit should have the repair sleeve in it to deal with the groove on the shaft. Glad you found this helpful.

      If you are removing the pump replace input shaft seal E55716 you only need one of them.

    Thanks for the video. I started working on my JD 250 yesterday. I wasn't sure what I was getting into, but your video help me to see it's not that complicated. My John Deere dealer wasn't any help as they never work on them. They told me it's non-serviceable and just send the pumps out to get repaired or replaced. So did you order the seal kit KV24684? If so, what was included in the kit?

    • @rfsn
      @rfsn 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey I am glad this helped you, I did order KV24684 but am not sure now if it included the v ring seal KV25179, it is an additional dust seal. Sorry I can't remember off hand what was all in there, parts site says it includes O rings and seal as well as the repair sleeve and plastic dust cover, also make sure you replace input seal E55716. If I can be of further assistance just ask, I will do what i can. Good luck

    @LiamCumby Your example doesn't even make sense, our whole justice system would be invalid if you were right. Intent is just as important as the consequence, if you actually planned and killed someone is very different from an accident. Same with killing for sake of food and survival and killing for mere pleasure, one is sadism the other survival.
