A single Bluetti AC70 does everything that you have wired and bolted to the wall will do with out having to do any wiring at all.
@SOLDOZER That's good to know, thanks. Question for you: If the bluetti was powering a fan or other devices and it shut off reaching zero percent. Will it automatically turn the items back on once the bluetti starts recharging?
I have two 200ah LiTime batteries, in my RV. I have had them for 4 years now, and I love them. We live off grid, in the winter. We snowbird to the desert, for the winter.
Thanks
there is no god and Trump is the Devil if there was...
How do you charge multiple USB devices?
I have a power strip pluged in to the inverter and it has two usb outlets built in.
Try running your wires through chunks of garden hose, to protect your wires.
@scottsherwood8555 That's a great idea. Thank you.
You will like that Victron controller. I have 2 of them. Just a suggestion, you can save that old battery and hook it up using a three way marine battery switch. That way when 1 battery is full you can switch and charge the other. Then if one battery starts getting low you have a backup battery to switch back to. Thats the way mine is set up, but with more batteries.
Thats a great idea. However, my brother took it off of my hands for his trolling motor.
Nice basic setup. I'm surprised that you can run all that stuff on one battery to store the energy. I started with a system like yours in my shed but have added more panels and batteries. My suggestion would be to add a battery or two in parallel for more storage and I don't know where you are but I had to build a insulated box with 12v RV pipe heaters because the batteries won't charge below 32 degrees
Thanks for watching. That one battery works well during the day, but it would drain pretty fast if I used everything at night. I do plan on upgrading my system so that I can run electrical throughout the shed.
@@Kevin_D1 Yea, that's what happened to me. Adding batteries and panels was easy and relatively cheep
Make sure you install a kill switch lanyard!
Looks like a nice setup. But I am curious about a couple of things... 1. Cable size between regulator and battery? 2. Cable size between battery and inverter? 3. Fuse size from regulator to battery? Nice youtube, thank you.
@SwedenLover090 I believe that I stated the wire size and answered your other questions in my last video. I am away from home, or I would walk out to the shed and answer your questions.
Thanks! I will go in and look. 🎉
@@SwedenLover090 let me know if that helps.
@Kevin_D1 Yes, I found it now. Thank you, that helps alot. 🎉👍
@@SwedenLover090 happy to help.
I have the same inverter and charge controller but for some reason my 2-230Ah batteries drain completely at night. And that’s with only a 30 watt draw. Any ideas?
@Google123ABC do your batteries reach 100% charge capacity during the day?
No. Sometimes they do. But even then they drain completely at night. I only have 2 lights and a modem connected to the inverter.

I really appreciate the Bible verse. You are doing a fabulous job. Remember the tongue has the power of life and death . Choose your words and how you speak about yourself wisely. May god bless you 🙏
Quick question. I just picked up the 30 mppt charge controller. havent hooked it up yet. coming from Morningstar which has been great, just more spendy. I noticed that you have the load terminals hooked to a low powered light bar instead of the inverter. what was your experience with installing the inverter directly to load? Did you try it or just go directly to battery from the start?
Additional question. I noticed the newest video where you switched to the victron. what was the biggest complaint on the litime controller that motivated the switch?
@@kj7mmc Thanks for watching. 1. Load terminals: I never hooked the inverter directly to the load terminals. I followed the directions in the LiTime manual hooking the inverter to the battery and shunt. 2. Victron: I switched to the Victron for a few reasons. The first was due to my battery monitor not working. I first thought that the heat in my shed was affecting it. However, this was not the case. The second issue I was having was that the battery was never fully charged. The charge controller was reading the voltage incorrectly and wasn’t allowing the battery to fully charge. These two issues lead me to the fact that the charge controller was having some issues and that’s when I bought the Victron. As a side note, the Victron is awesome. I love the app. I hope this answers your questions. Feel free to e-mail me if you need further assistance.
Do you keep the inverter on 24/7?
Yes, my inverter stays on 24/7.
Lol the batts qill last well over 2 years 😊
Nice setup, thanks for sharing.
nice setup, thanks for sharing 👍
Good evening and congrats on the grand child. From what I saw in the video, I did not see any buss bars or cables large enough to minimize voltage drop under any real load >500 watts. On the LiTime MPPT controller and wiring.....a VERY common mistake is to use CCA (copper clad aluminum) in your circuits and that is a NO-NO. Only use pure copper if possible. On voltage readings, nothing will be the same from battery to MPPT or inverter and never trust an inverter's meter reading. On the LiTime MPPT, check to see if there is a calibration setting. I know I have them on midnite solar and morningstar mppt systems as you should see no more than a .1v delta. With victron, the temp sensor is only applicable to non LiFePO4 but IF your shed gets below 32F/0C then you want to make sure you are using the correct charging profile or create a user profile for the battery. One last thing that people forget about is the EFI that a MPPT controller can emit and especially an inverter! Put a RF choke torrid on the leads going to the battery monitor as that long cord is an antenna for EFI/EMI/RFI and will cause that interference to induct into the cabling and throw off the digital inputs to the computers (IC Chips in the monitor)......enjoy..Gary in SE MI
@@Gary-wh7ce thanks for the info.
Nice setup with good products. You will appreciate your system even more When the grid goes down. Everyone Needs to be preparing for that & I don't mean just buying a gas powered generator. Free Energy from the Sun is Sustainable Energy.
Thank you
Hi, solar panel prices have dropped by miles and the output has been maximised to just over 500w per panel. This makes installs easier and gives you the opportunity to easily overpannel for the dull days. Best of all after that it is free! Take care M.
Heat is the number killer of electronics...I run an external fan on my Bluetti but I live in the Bahamas so it's always hot and humid..lol...congrats on the grand daughter also!!!!!
Thank you!
Hey MSG, thanks for the review. You definitely answered all my questions about this cot. Mainly, how does it hold up to my 235 lb retired weight and how does it compare to the old army cots. I live about an hour south of Spokane (Spoke-an) and I have had one of there Roll-a-tables for over 20 years, 4 deployments (and all the associated CTCs) and it is still rock solid, do recommend. Cheers, MAJ (Ret) Wood, USA.
Thanks for watching. That cot works great! I have used it a few times while camping. I do recommend a blow up mattress, but my son uses it without the air mattress. He hijacked it and takes it to the field.
Need a bus bar and 8 gauge to the battery input to the controller and 2 gauge from the bus bar to the battery and inverter.
@@solardiyhobbyandrevies8118 why do I need a bus bar? If possible, can you please elaborate or email me at kevin.lee.doyle1@gmail.com. Thanks.
Is it possible to flip the prop up when mounted like that?
@@Rustyfishing I flip the entire trolling motor by pulling on the string. I do not have the trolling motor locked in place. I allow it to pivot in case I hit something.

Would I be better suited to mount my anchor wizard on the bow or stern? I usually fish rivers, might take my kayak on some smaller lakes. I usually try and go up stream so I have the current to help me back to the car when I am done fishing/tired. I like to anchor at a spot for a few minutes/break it down and move up.
@zachh-w3s I mounted mine on the stern due to wanting the current at my back. Mounting it on the bow will you facing the current. Their are Pros and Cons for both mounting styles. Try it out on the stern one day, then the bow the next.
Just bought one of those batteries, good info, still learning and building setups myself. New subscriber, you have more than me😄😄

I just turned on my first system 7/5/24. I installed 3. 24 volt Li Time 100 AH Batteries I'm trying to prepare for Power Grid Failure and outages love your system
Good luck, and dont hesitate to check out other youtubers, thats how I have learned.
Heat (that people can take, e.g. around 100-120F) pretty much never causes issues with electronics like your battery monitor
@DrTune thank you for that info. Now I am wondering what's wrong with the monitor if it's not the heat making it act goofy.
Good video. I have 2 12v systems that i run constantly. Both are with a 1000w inverter. My 1400w solar, 400ah lithium battery bank, 1000w Renogy inverter, the system has 2 gauge wire running from the battery bank to the inverter. But from my charge controller to the battery bank is 8g and 4g. 3 separate mppt charge controllers, 2 are 30a and 1 40a. My box has 400w of solar, 30a mppt charge controller, 100ah lithium battery anda 1000w Li time inverter. 8g wire from the charger controller to the battery and 2g wire to the inverter. (Didnt include fuses, breakers, shunts, ect) Everything stays cool and no problems. I also had the .2v variation from the charge controller to the battery, upgraded the wire and it was right on the money for voltage. If the charge controller you have runs off of one of the SRNE apps, one of them have a calibration set up for voltage between panels and charge controller and charge controller to battery.
Thank you
I don't see a positive wire going to your inverter.
Its there, might have been how I was shooting the video.
I have that 60amp charge controller and the 3000watt inverter I’m almost ready to connect everything
I need to upgrade to a larger inverter as my A/C isnt able to work with my 1000W inverter.

Hi, I ordered two - one for me and one for the cats. I really enjoyed your presentation as it was very informative.
Hey Kevin I'm from Northern Ontario Canada and just Subscribed to your channel #89 LOL. I just purchased a 10'6" Fishing Kayak, should be receiving it in the next 10 days or so, can't wait. Good video showing your setup. I will be putting out some videos once I receive it.
Thank you. I will have some more videos in about a months time. My grandkids are visiting, and they eat up all of my time.
I would like to say congrats on your new setup. I started small with a 100w harbor freight kit, a 100ah AGM battery and a 750 modified sine wave inverter. Since then within 4 years I have gone to 1200w of solar, 2 1000w inverters and 400ah of lithium batteries. Still a 12v system. This setup has been running for the last year now 24/7. I have a couple of things that are ran as a constant load year round. While others are used when needed. Charging phones, tablets and watches, 3 separate led light strips, alarm clock, fans, internet and 2 extenders, 42in tv with sound bar, thes are just some of our day to day items. During our last power outage in the winter i used it to power some led light strips and an electric radiator style heater for a few hours. Keep up the good work and i hope to see in the future how your set up grows and what your using 24/7 as well for back up use.
Thank you and it seems like you have a pretty good system. This winter I will probably make a larger system but for now it does everytyhing I need it to do.
I cut down a shape of a triangle from aluminum plate so I could mount my anchor wizard holster. The shape of the triangle created an off set for the holster which gave the holster a kick out or "off set" so it hangs out to the side and wont interfere with anything.
I would like to see that.
So awesome that your son will wear your boots to honor both of you!! My brother is in the 101st currently in Poland
Yeah, I was shocked when he asked me if he could use them.
The new soldiers just take em to the shops and have them do it.
id rather keep the anchor near my side, stuff the rope under the seat, can lower it quietly overboard by my side, tie to the anchor trolley ring, ez
Very Nice Kev!
The 30A breaker between the battery and inverter will trip, if your load on the inverter is more than 400 watts. Your Inverter can draw up to: 1000watt / 12volts = 83,33 amps.
Do you have a recommended larger breaker? I am a novice at this stuff, and I need all the help I can get.

Thanks you. I havent had the system set up for more than a month. I too am interested in seeing how well it handles the heat. I fried my first inverter.
