Did you prepare your scene assets first in blender than took the scene in houdini for simulation, animation and rendering ? Or is it other way around...
i think the camera should be done better.

Probably 2 different shader trees joined by a MixShader node, animating the Factor value between both. At least, that's how I would do it.
