Hello, are there typically state pageants for Miss contestants?If not, do you have to have experience in the NAM system to be selected for a state title?
Hi there! This is the first year where there's multiple state pageants with the miss division! :) If your state doesn't have it, you go through an online interview process to "compete" for your state title as a miss! It's called the appointed representative program (ARP). And absolutely noooo experience required to be selected/compete for a NAM state title! Our newest Miss Michigan who was just crowned had never done NAM before :) It's such an incredible system, I hope you consider joining the NAMily!
