Iligan City, known as the "City of Majestic Waterfalls," offers decent accessibility with a network of jeepneys, buses, and tricycles connecting various areas. While movement within the city is generally moderate, rush hours can cause slight congestion in major areas. The presence of basic healthcare facilities, including public and private hospitals, ensures that residents have access to essential medical services. Overall, it’s a city that balances nature’s charm with urban convenience. - SALM- Ff
If I would be to explain a concept to others it would be the level of measurement because of how interesting it is therefore I assume that it would interest others as well.
In research process, I would prefer to do distribution of questionnaire because aside from its convenience for me as the researcher, it would be convenient to the respondent as well to let them take their time. FMP** SOC103-MN
I believe conscription of women in the military can promote gender equality, but it should consider individual capacities and societal readiness. If I were to join the military, I’d most likely choose the Air Force because of its focus on strategy and technology.
My three choices of Robert Fulghum's "All I Really Needed to Know I Learned in Kindergarten." 1. Share Everything- One of the basic principles Fulghum highlights is the importance of sharing, something we all learn early on. Whether it's toys, knowledge, or kindness, sharing creates connections and strengthens communities. 2. Play Fair- Life, much like childhood games, should be about fairness and respect for others. Fulghum encourages us to apply this principle in our everyday interactions, reminding us that fairness fosters trust and cooperation. 3. Say You're Sorry When You Hurt Somebody- Apologizing and taking responsibility for your actions is a crucial lesson learned early in life. Fulghum emphasizes the importance of humility and sincerity in healing relationships.
After watching the video, here are my three personal choices from Robert Fulghum's "All I Really Needed to Know I Learned in Kindergarten". 1. Share everything 2. Play fair 3. Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody I feel like I’ve been trying to live by these three principles since I was young. While it’s not always easy, I really do make an effort to practice them every day.
The video about the "Nothing Box" highlights the distinct ways men and women think and process information. Men tend to focus on one topic at a time and often retreat into their "Nothing Box," where they think about nothing as a way to relax. Women, on the other hand, are more likely to connect topics and discuss various ideas all at once. This difference can lead to misunderstandings, as women may feel ignored when men stay focused on a single topic or disengage. However, it's important to understand and accept these differences, as they reflect how men and women cope with stress and approach conversations. The video uses humor to explain these insights and helps bridge understanding between the two perspectives. MOC-PDS226
This video humorously explains the differences between men's and women's brains. Men tend to focus on one thing at a time (like having separate "boxes" for thoughts), while women's thoughts are more interconnected. The "Nothing Box" concept reminded me of someone I know who often says they’re “zoning out.” They can sit quietly, not thinking about anything, and it perfectly matches this idea! It’s a fun way to understand how people take mental breaks that others might not get. JRCL-PDS226
I would choose to explain the levels of measurement because they are fundamental to understanding how data can be categorized and analyzed in research. This topic matters because it influences how data is interpreted and affects the reliability of research results. Knowing these levels helps in designing better studies and communicating findings clearly. SADD*
I will prefer using questionnaires for my research because they will allow me to collect data from many people quickly. This will help me get a broader view. Questionnaires will also let respondents answer anonymously, which can lead to more honest responses. Plus, their clear format will make it easy to analyze the data. Overall, questionnaires will be a practical choice for my research needs. SADD*
I would prefer FGD and QD (Focus group Discussion and Distribution questionnaires) when doing quantitative research. For me its just less time consuming and efficient when doing a mass sampling. ***OJP
If i were to discussed a concept with someone, it would be the dependent and independent variables. In which we would have a shared discussion on various topics then we would identify which is which and how could this variable shaped the outcome of something. Its just so amazing to have a this kind of discussion and analyze this various variables then think of the probability the variable shaped the outcome. ***OJP
Data gathering of distributing questionnaires is likely what i prefer as its convenient for both respondents and researchers.
If I am given a chance to discuss one of the concepts being discussed about research variables, I will gladly discuss the "Level of Measurements," though I was still confused about this concept as it is not easy to familiarize the concepts. But I will gladly discuss it with someone, as I find it interesting and want to share my understandings about this concept. Because I know that in time, it will be useful to that someone, especially when making a research paper. ALM***
On research process, I would prefer the distribution of questionnaires in collecting data. Aside from being one of the most popular data collection methods in research for gathering information, it is also more convenient as it can be distributed online by making Google Forms and in person when a researcher is targeting a specific demographic. And it also ensures that the data of the respondents will remain anonymous and confidential. Additionally, this method is also less time-consuming and cost-effective. ALM***
The data collection method I prefer is 'Interview Using Interview Schedule'. During interviews, I can gain a deeper understanding by asking follow-up questions. Also, through interviews, I can collect in-depth informations that will be very useful for conducting a research. RMA***
If I am asked to explain any of the discussed concepts, I would like to explain the 'Levels of Measurement.' Because this information being added to my learnings is great, I now understand more about the differences between Nominal, Ordinal, Interval, and Ratio. Therefore, I would like someone else to also learn what I think is really fascinating to learn. RMA***
The kinds of data and levels of measurements picked my interest the most on those different concepts. These concepts were insightful enough for me to take a chance in sharing them to my colleagues and friends. It’s very interesting to the fact that not everyone has this kind of knowledge in which I’ve got the chance to acquired. HCM***
In terms of data collection I prefer distributing questionnaires because they let me collect data from many people easily and analyze responses efficiently. ***SPH
If given the chance, I would gladly discuss the level of measurement to someone because I find it interesting to learn, though it’s not easy because, to be honest, I’ve had to watch it several times before fully understanding it. It is also stated in the video that through these measurements, researchers are able to make decisions about the type of statistical analysis that should be performed, which means that sharing/discussing this information can be of great help. ***AJV
In terms of data collection, I prefer questionnaire distribution because it is convenient, cost-effective (requires fewer resources), and can reach a big number of people. In addition, respondents can complete the questionnaires anonymously, which encourages honest and open responses and allows them to have time to answer the questions. ***AJV
I prefer distribution of questionnaires because it would be convenient to the respondents, and they will not be forced to do it because they just need to answer several questions.
I’m in favor of interview using interview schedule in collecting data. In interviews, I can clarify something that might be misunderstood by the respondents and create a better understanding about the study. Which for me will give an advantage for more deeper and important details of the gathered data in the study. HCM***
if i would explain a concept towards someone, i will explain about the relevance of discrete and continuous. Because in data gathering, it is a crucial and important thing to identify the data whether it is discrete or continuous in order to properly do analysis.
