Looks like you had a beautiful night out there, so quiet and peaceful. Too bad about the Aurora but maybe next time :) I would absolutely do that gondola ride. There's something like that in Banff National Park that I've gone on a few times and loved every second of it. Glad you're feeling better!

Det känner man igen. Lång väntan med stora förväntningar som sedan övergår i funderingarna om man ska ge upp eller vänta lite till. I Skåne är det en utmaning att hitta en mörk plats p g a alla ljusföroreningar. Det brukar lysa gult från någon by eller stad hur än man vrider sig. Den fina bilden på solnedgången, där några fina moln tittade in blev dagens favorit. Nattbilden med det magiska ljuset blev också riktigt fin

Its always, they both look great "BUT when we start pixel peeping " LOL, if you find yourself pixel peeping on a computer then its not a good comparison. Match the colors and then print the photos at 4*6 inches and 24*18 inches, then compare. On screen pixels are not 1 to 1 to from a camera to every computer monitor ever made. So take pixel peeping out of the equation and lets see an real world print comparison, and no do not use a magnifying glass in real-life LMAO.

I have the D90 over 10 Years it was my first and until now also last Mirror Kamera. I used it that time for hiking, but after years i sicher to Smartphone for hiking pics and have now a DJI Pocket 3 for Videos.

The Z7 can be a 45 megapixels monster -- I give you that --, but the raw files from the D90 just need to be exported as jpg's and you´re done with editing! I do like Nikon's NEF files in general, but my D700 and D4's files are something special.

Tre riktiga godbitar. Magisk bäck, fin sandstrand och härliga klippor. Ligger de nära varandra? Det tråkiga med regn är att himlen blir jämngrå, förutom allt blir blött. Hemma från tre dagar Ramsvikslandet i Bohuslän. En hel del regn och blåst. Man fick passa på mellan skurarna. Fast hellre det än klarblå himmel.

What a video Thomas loved photo number 3 and the storm in the evening well what can you say brilliant.

The stills near the end of the storm clouds were really cool and moody, I enjoyed them more than the videos, I wonder what settings would be best to catch lightening, maybe video screen shots or I don't know what stills settings.

Talk about being in the right place at the right time! Outstanding work Thomas!

you don't need the best. Must have reliability and consistency. Lens quality makes the biggest difference.

Could use the same lens on the z7 with the adaptor, and then it would be an actual camera comparison

Been up on Flatruet a couple of times over the years when my dad and I were up in Långå and fly fishing, it's a beautiful place with a view you won't forget in the first place
