I thing your AI is Thrash Metal, almost everything was thrash. Ai metal is not cool, metal is about see your band play and destroy a-live and be amazed wondering how those MOFO can do that. If its not powered by human rage, its not metal.
It does alright on most of them, but failed pretty bad on the extreme metal, lack, death etc. Crazy that this is even possible to be honest
When I tried to generate music with AI for the first time I expected some kind of melody or something. I was really surprised when I realised that it can generate full song and sometimes even a really good song.
It's not bad, but not great either. The lyrics and vocals are really annoying, in my opinion. I also think it got confused in some cases, and made the literal genre names influence the lyrics (in industrial and symphonic metal especially). Edit: Also, you forgot nu metal, alt metal, metalcore, groove metal, and some others.

I don't know how AI works, but in a few years, i think it could write a métal album. It already does in pop music. The question is : will you listen to it, even if it is good, if you know there are no musicians playing?

It makes good background content. Idk about art, which even humans have trouble creating. There is a difference between creativity and skill. A.I. will get the skill thing pinned down and be the best at it of course, but On the creative end it isn't capable of new thought, which even most humans struggle with. Though I do think that A.I. will raise the barrier to entry again, which I like. We used to have labels do that for us, the internet broke that, and now you will have to be more interesting than AI.
