Vanirah Farm is an organic permaculture farm, located on the top of a Himalayan hill in Uttarakhand. We aim to be an inspiration farm for the local community and farming enthusiast from all around the world.

Another update of our journey in becoming a self-sufficient small scale farm in the Indian Himalayas. This time in diary form. I used to write diary entries on our website a long time ago and I really like writing. So I gave this style of video a try. Let me know what you think! The video covers our current daily routine, the cows and other animals, births of baby chicks and a new calf, visits of family and friends and some struggles with motivation now and then.

A winter walk around Vanirah Farm in the Indian Himalayas. It snows! We spend the last days on working on the earthen (earthbag/ super adobe) dome kitchen at the inside. Lots still has to be done. Thanks! :D It was oke. Here on the top of a hill the water flows down on all sides, so not experiencing much problems with heavy rains. The roads in the area were terrible though!
