I used to navigate military helicopters. This is wonderfully nostalgic. But sadly not explained very well because a lot of times things were off camera or extremely difficult to see. Glad you posted it though. The device is called a Dalton computer.

I find it strange how many people take flight kessons without knowing anything prior. If you were really keen on flying you woukd know the helicopter and basic principles first in my opinion.

That looked like a fairly bumpy day. I did a Luton zone transit earlier this year, hoping to improve my radio work. When I chopped to their frequency I thought the radio had failed, it was that quiet. Sadly didn't learn much. Still think the 66 start start procedure is quicker than a 44.
