I’ve been trying to find out what this show was for nearly 20 years thinking I’d made it up, none of my peers had a clue what I was talking about when mentioning “green lights invading people”. Thanks to ChatGPT and my limited description of the show it’s brought me here! I can’t believe this was shown after school looking back at some of the scenes, no wonder it’s scarred me for over 30 years 😅. Thanks again for ending my search 🙌🏼

A lot of these are just filler, but some of them might have worked in the finished movie IMO. The HR scene would've explained why Andy was so unprepared for her interview, and the CK showroom scene (without the lead-up with Emily and the car) would've been just a fun bit of Miranda being her catty self. The scene at the Gala _could_ have been good, if they cut off the shot of Miranda mouthing "thank you". I fully agree that was too much vulnerability too soon, but if they only showed her glancing at Andy over her husband's shoulder that would've struck a decent balance (also, the scene shows Emily warming up to Andy, which makes the ensuing Paris choice all the more difficult).

She really had it coming for tattiling on him. I know the party was out of control and the zoo animals were esting her garden. She could have just called the police 🚔 but insisted she called Miranda. And that's what caused the divorce. So in essense, she really ruined Daniel Hillard-San's life, as well messing Chris-San's, Natalie-San's, and probably most of all Lydia-San's life up pretty well too.

Daniel has got a lot of nerve considering this is all his fault.

I just found out about this deleted scene. this scene should have been in the movie. great acting by everyone here including the kids. I know it's dark but it would have shown the reality of going thru a divorce.

I think this is a powerful strong scene with so many emotions that should’ve stayed in the movie❤

Daniel and Gloria had a terrible relationship as she only gets along with his ex wife, Miranda. Even though I feel sorry that her flowers are dead, at the same time, she deserves it for the saying false things about Daniel being a child abuse and having an affair to which he would never do.

No wonder this scene was cut. Too heartbreaking. 💔💔💔💔

Sadly it was filmed in TODD-AO 35 instead of 70mm, otherwise an upscale wouldn't be needed with a re-scan of the film.
