We have a great time at this citrus farm. Worth the trip especially the kids!! This was part of my family road trip down to Florida. During our stay at Jacksonville,FL, we enjoy going to this restaurant( Banana Leaf Asian Bistro) and if you’re interested to pass by or you live nearby, here is the address 622 Cassat Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32205. In this video we have Bordissot Negra Rimada, Martinenca Rimada, Black Zadar and an Unknown variety from my rooted cutting experiment. We also take a second look at the Montanha Verde. Everything was a shock!!
Wow! Such a stunning fig! Socorro Black, Violette de Sollies, Mantanha Verde and Paratjal Rimada

Fig and garden mid summer update. Explode with grow!
Nice video and collection. Where are you located? Planting zone?
Never mind, I see now that you’re in Queens. Thanks for the video!
Are you staying with those varieties in the garden and why do you say? (I ask since you mentioned collection reduction and it helps not to have more varieties than needed )
You sale DSJG cutting.Thanks
Hi, I just listed them on my figbid. Please check them out. Thanks
Доброго времени суток, какая климатическая зона, где живете?
Another excellent video, Khmer! 👍
Wow, beautiful well taken of tree. The seller also did a fine job of packaging.
How do they perform with rain and humidity?
Very bad in the rain. It will split open and spoil. Also when night time temperatures get low, it also starts to split. But if you can get it perfectly ripe, it is one of the best.
Indonesia also listened..
Good informative video. Thanks for sharing
Very nice fruit! I'm still on my first year and not too many figs for me. But even first year taste better than store bought. If black Madeira is your queen of figs, what is your King of figs?
Take it easy, don’t go crazy yet. All of my top favorite, I call them queen of the fig since they’re all female trees. No king 👑
I am currently growing this in AZ and can’t wait for it to fruit
You sale the cutting for Super Jumbo cutting sir
Hello, probably I will have them on figbid later this winter. Thanks
Hello my Khmer brother. How are you fertilizing all of them trees? I only have 30 trees and have been manually mixing liquid fertilizer and hand watering and it's taking such a long time. Do you use liquid or slow release?
@@FC2ESWS hey there, welcome! I use to apply Alaska liquid fish fertilizer one every month to help with green grow. Back then,my trees are 1 and 2 years old. Now, my trees are 2 and 3 years old and I only apply that Alaska liquid fish fertilizer 1 time at the beginning of the season only. At the beginning of this season, I use slow release fertilizer Osmocote plus. I apply 1 time and don’t for the whole season. I love hand watering, but since I set up my drip system, I never go back. It just too convenient.
@@khmergreen Thanks man. One day I will have a collection like yours
❤Beautiful gems!
Thanks for the advice, my friend!
I’m glad I found your channel, my friend! Beautiful figs, great camera work, and awesome review!
Always enjoyed watching your videos. Your fig plants look great! Is there a way to contact you?
@@itsmusman2534 you can reach out to me at KhmerGreen26@gmail.com . Thanks
Nice!👍👍
I live with n Hawaii. ☹️
After viewing most of your TikTok Fig clips, I noticed your videos and still shots are really clear! I like your camera work and photos!
@@PukaHeadMan thanks !
Looking good You should have the Figoin fig, it is mall fig but taste very delicious and dried on the tree it’s much better than Campaniere and Hative d’Angenteuil. Figoin fig ripe early, has breba and production , fruit from July until frost. Another good one is Cessac, some body said that it’s the same as Smith, no it’s not the same.Cessac ripe earlier than smith and taste better than Smith. I ate all the Cessac and Smith is not ripping yet
Good for you. I’m downsizing my collection so can’t get any more.
Boysenbery blush looks the best.
Really enjoy your videos. Wish the climate was better here in the UK for growing figs
Thanks!!
There plenty more fruits and berries that are good choice too
You could try transparent plastic to let sun but not water in around or plant intensively so they take water and dry the soil better or have varieties for your humid place like the ones Ross recommends in his channel?
Really enjoy your videos. Wish the climate was better here in the UK for growing figs
How come mine are longer an don’t point up
Pepper has many different species
You have an amazing fig collection. Do you have other honey figs? Your family is sure to enjoy that dessert platter. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful plate of figs! Will you be selling cuttings on figBid this year? Thanks for sharing your experience.
I might have a few trees and cuttings
nice!!! they all look like jam!!!
Thanks!!
Great video do you give away cuttings at the end of the growing season. I live in the high desert California zone 9a and would love to grow your cuttings
Hey thanks!! For this season I don’t think I will do the giveaway again.
Thank you I love your videos
Great video and your honest input, keep it up, looking forward seeing more of your videos
@@georgek9464 thanks for watching
Wow where did you get this tree or cutting from?
@@FC2ESWS I got from figbid
@@khmergreen Any particular seller? I see Profig selling cuttings.
All your fig look delicious ❤
Thank you!! How is your season so far?
@@khmergreen l have a good fig season this year too . Thank you ❤️
your fig trees look great! i love that they are on the rooftop!
The video we have all been waiting for! Looks great.
@@jackturner4917 thanks a bunch!!
Nice! I remember last year your Black Madeira were huge but this year they are smaller and Preto looks bigger. Do you really think they are the exact same plant or is it just the flavor that is the same?
@@BlackJesus8463 exactly my black Madeira this season are much smaller fruits overall. However, I believe they just the same between black Madeira and Preto. I happy to just have either one. Thanks
@@khmergreenI hear that the Preto is more vigorous and easier to clone. Is that true?
@@FC2ESWS I can’t say for sure since I don’t really pay attention to that.
All your figs look very healthy, and the fruits look amazing, brother!!
Yup!
Really enjoyed the video.
on my to buy list
any new update vlogs? your nyc rooftop fig set up is awesome!
Great video, what state do you live in?
I truly appreciate your video. Very well spoken and although a newer fig grower, you prove your experience. My favorite part is the inferior fruit versus no fruit... I agree! Nothing wrong witg breba.
I appreciate that!
What's the name of it?
I agree about Violet De Bordeaux. It is a pound for price legendary champ. There is reason why it is a classic. But, Montanha Verde is taking up space. It is average at best and too small.
You got me on Violette de Bordeaux. Pound for price legendary champ. For montanha verde it seem to improve a lot this season. Will see what happens
Thanks man. Very encouraging video. I really like how you keep your growing area so clean and organized. Your fig trees look happy. 🙂
I love spending time in my garden so I always try to keep it clean as much as possible. Thank you
Hello my friend, I am a good follower of yours and thank you for the good information. Black Maderi is divided. What are the reasons? The water is good and the weather is excellent, and the rest of the trees are excellent, only Maderi?
Sir does fig plant die during rainy season if planted?? Is it ok to plant fig plant in monsoon season??
@@listonpereira608 I don’t think it would die because fig trees are very resilient.
Awesome teaching, love your garden. New here in your house. Big thumbs up 👍🏾
very nice making such big terrain covering small spacious grow fruit
Such a go9d teacher! Thank,
You are such a good gardener and enjoy it. I enjoy your videos!
