I have a guide about quick swapping on this channel, but I'm not sure how applicable it is for console. The only limitation I'm aware of is that controllers have less buttons to bind weapons to, but I think a standard two weapon swap like precision bolt + rocket or super shotgun + ballista is very doable. I'd look into players like MuricanEagle and ControllerQuickSwaps on TH-cam. I know they've both done quite a bit for the console community.

I think the way you use "misleading" is a bit misleading. 1. I don't understand your first point. In the video I explain what I do to get in the air with the meat hook, and then I demonstrate it. Thats what I'm "actually" doing. Nothing misleading about that. 2. You say, "In fact, you don't even need to swap into heavy canon at all". I never said that swapping to the heavy cannon was your only option. You also say, "Some people use it to setup D Blade, and you could too (which I find more useful and fun)" I don't see how that could be "more useful" than canceling a meat hook with a quick heavy cannon shot to instantly get some armor off a fodder demon while preserving your momentum to avoid damage. Equally useful? Maybe. More useful? Don't think so. Both skills serve different purposes anyway. Again, nothing misleading there. 3. You have a point here. I should have clarified that I don't play without air control or think it's better to play without it. Just wanted to mention it because I know some people play like that, and thought I'd mention an advantage of that playstyle. Also, really dude? "I could demonstrate some tricks discussed and more in a very practical way if anyone would like me to. 10 likes and I'm doing it" L plug. What do you even mean by "very practical way" everything mentioned in this is very practical as is.

@raguel4416 No need to take offense dude, maybe I was a bit exaggerating with "misleading", I was wrong and I'm sorry about that But I want to bring attention to some other not too much advanced but fun and useful tricks there are in the game. Personally when I mastered hook and baliista boosts into bunny hopping, I felt like I was god, and I think that people might want to experience that too Idc about views or whatever your complaint was, I just wanted to give some nice, simple and effective piece of advice for people that need it

@hesik3461 My fault dude. Came off to me like you were tryna siphon off this videos success while making innacurate statements, and that just rubbed me the wrong way. I get where you're coming from now, but if you wanted to chime in with your own advice, there was definitely no need to try and label what I've said as misleading. We're good now though.

@BravesSeminole7 I play with mouse and keyboard so I'm not sure. I'd suggest seeking the advice of a controller player, but the elite controller might be better just because it has more buttons/binds

@ThePmcderm91 Thought someone might say this. The term "stream sniping" implies that I'm intentionally queuing at the same time as a streamer in order to create an unfair advantage. That wasn't the case here. I queued into a game and happened to find someone with ttv in their name, basically inviting randoms to join the stream, so i did to hear his reactions. There was not a single instance in this video where having his stream up gave me an advantage, and the streamer saw nothing wrong with it either.

For tight spaces, I like to have my chain gun shield handy so I can tank damage while I create space with dashes. Generally, moving in a cyclical fashion will help you herd the demons and keep them from creating crossfires where you can't escape.

Could possibly be that you are not holding down right click throughout the combo. As long as you're holding down that mod button, the stickies should be ready to fire as soon as you bring it up.

@@raguel4416i have it held down but maybe I'm just not swapping fast enough. The stickies aren't primed when I swap over. Thanks for the pointers though!

You have to start the combo with PB shot, starting with sticky bomb won't initiate the fast swapping mech. So check that. Raguel haven't mentioned this little nuance.

@@AskarShansharov I actually noticed this was the issue, but also, I am doing UN runs and I found that the combo is a bit inconsistent early on. I can get the combo going if I press every key individually w/o holding right click. Later in the run w/ fully upgraded weapons the combo is cake

Yeah, I get this look on my guns by combining modded skins. If you have them equip in this order when you launch the game, you'll get the same thing. Ballista: shadow ballista mayker skin (vanilla skin) Rocket launcher: Concept Art Rocket Launcher VFX Hexidecimate rocket shadow rocket launcher

@Fallensickkunt nah I don't use a mod. I use steams launch options thing. Someone else on this video left a comment asking how I get my fov so you can just copy and paste what I gave him into doom eternals launch options and you should be good to go.
