I was so fascinated by your BOXING methods. I'm just now trying to figure out how to get the EQEMU server to play EQreturns - a custom server already made. And just the basic set up as I had the Tak Project - Quarm client set up, the server occasionally pops up and loved the custom server. Anyhow I loved how you broke everything down to an elementary style way (even though its NOT easy, I understood it completely!).

You can pull gorgalosk without killing any trash. We have monk pull it out and then FD near raid. Tank hail locks it while the adds path back, then you can single kill the named.

TLP PoSky Progression is so fun once you get passed the slog of the first week when only a few get keyed. In <Legacy in Progress> on Yelinak, during 50 Classic, We fully progressed through PoSky and cleared every boss, including the extra Djinn etc.=] Also, as a Ranger, my guild let me tank a Hate Mini, Ashenbone Broodmaster, 100 - 0 (Without Dying!) although I was in full BiS gear hahaha... I had the AC of a 4th string Warrior! Unfortunately I deleted the video, otherwise I would upload it... Makes me want to start up 72 boxing just to recreate it hahaha!

We still raiding sky on project quarm, just did it on Sunday. We have a bard go up first and aggro everything and kite, then an SK peels them off. We are mostly 58+ now though, so we actually end up just killing them all at once usually with AE mez and AE slow.

Berserkers dps hinges on AA … they need the flurry ability

For the future, there's a few crazy fights in GoD to box because you have to do some staying away from mobs and/or moving. I know they're possible with 4 people boxing ~18 chars each but never tried with a single full raid. Terris thule, xegony, Coirnav all kinda hard to box because of the add mechanics. Pretty sure you have to be set up to drive and tank with at least several chars and have macros setup for auto-mez. For QOL with buffs, you can do something like target self (keypress f1 I forgot what it is offhand) and /multiline ; /say #cast buff1ID; /say #cast buff2ID; /say #cast buff3ID ... The multiline schema is like /multiline delimiter commanddelimiter commanddelimiter..... makes turning 10+ socials into 1 which is nice and no more 5 minutes to buff.

You could get some decent gear in hate or fear. That would be a cool raid to kill some mini bosses.

I know you have lots of armies, but can you make an army of dark elves and give them all the same armor that raid only good guy zones and kill all the good guys? Or maybe army of dark elves, ogres, and trolls would be ok, but same armor! They have to be like the romans of norrath!

god I hated sky raids lol. we'd always make a weekend of it, do it over a couple days and just camp out usually like spiroc island to farm

I played a Wizard at the start of one of the TLPs and they're terrible in classic on Boss Fights. Many people don't like them in group because you end up only being able to cast once per mob. I loved being able to port around, but they are bad in classic and especially in the Planes.

I useually use pets to pull the DT mobs, but Ive only ever done it recently w/ lvl 100 plus toons. Never tired back when it was current, not sure if the DT is only on players, but fun fights...

You may have answered this question in the past, I apologize if that is the case, but I just now found your videos. However, what kinda of rig do you use to run 72 boxes on? Are you using server hardware with a CPU that has several cores and a lot of RAM?

I was a raider on alkabor. Wizards outdpsed melee on most fights. Yeah fights get higher hp, but wizards do more damage per nuke.

With clarity i assume I have a 60 wiz on p99 and I'm always oom 😂

Interesting about the wizards. In classic I started as druid and switched to warrior/ shaman 2-box just before kunark. Druid became the pwr leveler and port box, sometimes just needed backup heals and snare. Tried enchanter to lvl 60 but only for clarity, haste, and mez. I do not remember if parsing DPS was available back in the day.

Yea it’s always been that way if you are including trash. In guilds tho trash doesn’t really count for much. Before the raid window I do remember the KS group in the raid usually at least 3 wiz and the exp was great. If I remember wiz dropped off the in pop. Kunark gave lures, Velious had dragons/giantsbane, and so many meele didn’t have bane weapons in luclin. My experience may not be universal.

I think the only thing you're missing is resist gear. Unless you have enough junk buffs from clikies too you're gonna have all your buffs gone extremely fast too. If you do this legit farming the clickies for all of your chars is gonna be a nightmare. (e.g. fishbone earring for all chars would be like what 576 hours?). I think you want to kill vox first unless you can get a lot more frost res than fire res. She has CH and both aoes hit 500ish with a dispel. I think Nagafen hits harder with melee though but I don't remember. Also, I'm not sure if it's a good idea at 50 unless you're using the war aggro discs that were put in later but you might want your debuffers to try to hit vox with a nullify magic prior to debuffing (I don't remember if that's post 50 or not). It'll probably resist a lot but some might get through. You don't want to hit her with it after debuffing her though.

EQ was the BEST MMORPG ever created. People used to two box all the time back in the day. Never saw a 72 box 😆 Used to farm Naggy/Vox all the time.

Dave, that was a genius idea to combine Vox and Nagafen. It gave it a ToV kind of flavor in a vanilla expansion. I saw a gm command 'scale' that could possibly be used to set PoHate and Fear bosses down to level 58 or whatever original classic was. Spells should scale but if not that makes it challenging. Great vid which opens the idea to custom raids.

I managed to do it on live 6 boxer... but at 52 and better geared (3x Ragebringers and cleirc clicky group heal chest). Not comparable.

People doing this kind of stuff in live is why I quit. Everyone just plays with themselves now because the devs dont care if you multibox. Thus it has lost almost all of its social aspects, and is why its deader than dead. I log on 2 years after stopping and see the same 5 people talking in chat. Noone new. Its really sad tbh.
