Hello and welcome to Curtis Cattle Co.! We are first time cattle farmers. So please join us as we can learn together and learn from each other! On Curtis Cattle Co. we have our own cow/calf operation. We also work all of our own cows and even cut and bale hay for them! Thanks for your time!

Twine sucks. Net wrap is the only way to go. You’ll have strings everywhere!
❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Cute playful baby.
She sure is full of energy
Looks like a bun in the oven ha
@@CircleBeeFarms they are spoiled lol
I use a manual driver and just put the toes of my boot in the triangle cutout to stop it from turning. Not sure if it'll work with a gas powered one though
@@ShogelsGiganti I’m going to give it a try. Thanks!
Use your foot to turn it as your pound it down. Using the wings on the tpost
I’ll have to try that. Thanks!
A Rick bucket works good to
I’d say so! Just making what I have work!

@@gdanuser thank you!
Minus 7! I thought we were in a warm climate here!! LOL
@@KapperOutdoors2.0 it usually doesn’t stay that cold that long here lol. I think that one lasted like a 3-4 days?
I have a JD 450E which we bought back in 2020. I think you hit all the fine points of the baler. We had a New Holland 654 prior to buying this one, which was a twine tie and this JD 450E is net wrap. We make ours 58" instead of 60". Good job on the video, thanks for sharing and I hope you have a nice day!
@@Dan-qy1rg thank you! I hope you enjoy your jd 450e as much as we do. We had a Vermeer rebel before this one and had nothing but troubles out of it. This 450e is a Cadillac compared to the Vermeer! Thanks for the comment, hope your day is great as well!
@@MidMoFarmer Our NH 654 did okay, some hitches in it, but we also had a few issues with the 450E. End of the first year, the collar came off the pto and severed the com. cord, which we did have replaced through the insurance. The net wrap had wrapped around the rubber roller so much that it caused the alignment on the knife to go out, which was my fault for not powdering it like you said. That was a real pain, but we had that fixed too. Good luck to you.
@@Dan-qy1rg I think if you are baling hay you are going to have issues! There’s a piece that has like a broom on it almost. Just below the rubber roller. That piece can come off. Make sure and clean all the old hay out behind it because it will scratch the steel roller underneath the rubber roller! That’s been our only issue so far. And I broke a shear bolt once from a stick!
😂😂😂😂
Oh thats amazing 🤩
I don't understand
What the video about?
I cleared all of the brush so I can have more pasture for my cows! Standing in the same spot on both videos. Before/after.
Good video 👍
Thank you!
Cow- “move tf out way homie”💀
No joke lol
Overall how do y’all like this baler?
We really like the baler for the money. We baled around 700 bales with it last year. I wouldn’t want to do much more than that with it. Just because of the speed limitations with it. Have about 1200 bales on it and have had only one issue with the baler and the net wrap busting. But it was due to hay stuck in between where it cuts the net wrap and the roller. But that’s it. Overall I wouldn’t hesitate buying it again.
You seem like a good father, take care brother. Greetings from Europe
Thank you. That is very much appreciated!
Sounds about right

Are saying your luck is shit or are you looking at the boys and having thoughts 😂
Definitely bad luck. And definitely not looking at boys and having thoughts 😂
This is hilarious, will definitely use this line from now on with the boys when having shitty days
What wheels been looking for a replacement on mine!! And did you need spacers if they are from a newer model?
The wheels are off of a 3rd gen. And no spacers are needed! Thanks for the comment Jesse!
TY for feeding the cow's 🙂
Feed them everyday!
Your appreciated for your hard work 🙏♥️
Exhaust setup?
4 inch from turbo back.
what are the specs on your hx35 and how are your egt's?
It’s just a hx40 60mm compressor wheel. I’m not to impressed with it. You have to watch the egt’s they’ll jump up to 1200-1300 pretty quick pulling anything.
More boost!!!
It’s in the works!!!
Stock turbo?
It’s a hx35/40 hybrid!
@@MidMoFarmer thank you for responding!!

😂 yeah, because there just aren’t enough vids here on TH-cam of kids showing us how to make a movie of our passenger side mirror 😂
what
@@colbybarbour9990 oh I was just taking a little shit on all the kids making their “rolling coal” videos, cause they’re always filming inside the cab while looking through one of the side mirrors.... I thought it was kinda funny but takes all the humor out of it when you have to explain it to someone.
Stock head bolts?
Yes. For now lol
