I Explored Offbeat North Goa In Monsoons: Here Are 9 Hidden Gems with No Crowd in Goa
On my recent trip as a filmmaker, I spent a week fully immersed in the magic of this place, this time armed with thorough research. I discovered some truly hidden gems-places I didn’t know existed!
Offbeat Places in North Goa
In this first episode, I take you on a 4-day journey across North Goa, revealing 9 mind-blowing things to do in Goa to stay away from the crowds. These places are like Goa’s best-kept secrets, known only to locals and kept pristine.
I’m not here to promote mass tourism or crowd these sacred spots. All I ask is that if you visit, treat them with respect and leave them as clean as you found them!
I'm dropping Google Maps locations of all places mentioned in this vlog. (Pls note, these Google locations will take you ALMOST to the spot. Rest, you'll have to watch my video to help you navigate to the exact mentioned spots. I've explained in detail)
1. Haravalem Waterfalls - maps.app.goo.gl/bFFrM7QEwQVUMPA77
2. Haravalem Caves - maps.app.goo.gl/RWegtYvRijoMPTPK8
3. Salaulim Dam - maps.app.goo.gl/uHgb8xfQqajd1HGd9 (always safe to keep confirming you are on the right track)
4. Mandrem Beach - maps.app.goo.gl/twV33X35Bsdb7Ugq9 (this is different than what you find on maps)
5. Bambolim Beach - maps.app.goo.gl/mAKsq7ahCZxfrNUdA
6. Kayak at Nerul river, Chapora River.
You can also visit:

    On average, it will cost you INR 10-15k (this includes staying at a luxury resort, driving to the destination, food and entry fees). If you stay at a budget hotel, you can cover the trip well under INR 10,000. If you have questions, comment below.

We skipped on it so I cannot tell you for sure but I know there is snow throughout the year (the quantity differs)

      Ask your bank what conversion will they give if you use debit card including any charges. I recommend you carry some usd to begin the trip, then just use your card. We did that. When you buy usd it’s expensive, so you lose some money there and then converting it to tenge is a little more loss. You need cash in Kazakhstan for almost everything, so make sure you either have enough usd or your card works with their banks. I recommend using Haylk bank for withdrawals

    • @mrsdaakustudio
      @mrsdaakustudio หลายเดือนก่อน

      August is fine, the weather will be decent. Your debit card works or not will depend on your bank, you want to confirm that before you leave the country. Credit cards are safer to use because you can raise dispute claims and all that. Think about getting one. Kazakhstan is safe for females. I didn’t do local tour companies but I am sure you can find many. For stay, prefer to stay in hostels so you have company. We stayed one day in a hostel (im forgetting the name but I have mentioned it in my saty video) and it was good. For 10-12 days, I think you can do Almaty, saty and Altyn eml national park OR Almaty, Saty, Aksu OR Almaty saty shymkent turkestan You won’t be able to do any more than that

    Hello Chavi- excellent and informative video. 1. I am going to Almaty in July Aug. Can you share contact number of Wanderlust hostel and how to book a private room there? 2. As i understand, you went to Saty village and from there you moved around to various lakes and canyons instead of doing trips from Almaty. This is interesting and a much better idea. Which place other than Aisha Hostel, you can suggest for Saty Village? 3. How to move around from Saty to various lakes? Are the cars easily available? Thanks and regards

    • @mrsdaakustudio
      @mrsdaakustudio 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi suresh, 1. You can find wanderlust hostel on booking.com and book from there. That’s what I did 2. For other options, you probably have to find them on Instagram and reach out. Booking also has some options, you can check out. It’s a little interiors and I couldn’t find a lot of information on this. 3. We hired Aidar to explore. You have only 3 options: first, hire a car from Almaty and drive yourself. Second, hire aidar or any other cab guy to take you around 4. Pay the local transport but this can be expensive and sometimes you won’t even find anything in which case I have seen people hitchhiking. I would recommend hiring a cab or a self drive car
