"Fantasmic! A Backyard Nighttime Spectacular!" 2021
Welcome to “Fantasmic! A Backyard Nighttime Spectacular!”
This show has been brought to you by “The Magic Trailer.” We are group of creative hobbyist who during the downtime of Quarantine, took to our Backyard and for the next year and half brought to life a show that many Disney Theme Park goers and lovers miss dearly (us included).
This project tested our creative skills in the best
way possible. From the art of puppetry, lighting and special effects programming, projection mapping, costuming, set design, the list goes on!
What also makes this production interesting is that it is only being performed by 3 individuals. So you will see that this version is a bit different but still follows the same iconic story line of Mickey Mouse’s imagination gone awry thanks to a team of sinister villains.
The audience you hear in the background are made up of family, friends, and neighbors who stopped by to show support. All visitors were socially distanced while experiencing the show.

Imagination is defined as: using dreams & creativity to make the world extraordinary!
…and that’s what we hope folks take away from this…don’t let something like quarantining ever stop you from dreaming fantastic dreams because you never know...you could end up creating something amazing that will make others smile. And that’s what it’s all about.

Our Corgi has been living in my dropped jaw for days. My chin crashed to the floor at least 10 times during this spectacular wonder; the skin has carpet burns now. What a mighty tribute you've nailed. Walt must be grinning. Surely GOD pointed out your marvel and allowed him to watch. A pantheon of platitudes could never cover the delicious banquet, including the gratitude for sharing the feast with us. Peace be with you Mouseketeers!

My jaw was on the ground at how perfect the evil witch was. Each movement delivered a new surprise and left me with tears in my eyes! They were absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!! ohhh.... and btw...... DISNEY should frickin hire y'lall... b'specially b' evil b'witch

What in the Walt Disneys backyard did I just witness with my special eyes. The fact this was all spot on with zero jank to it, consider me impressed with everyone involved with this. How you captured that magic is absolutely amazing. Wow guys and gals take a bow.

This is so wonderful!! We are big fans of Fantasmic, at both parks, and this was a ridiculously accurate and impressive recreation!! Kudos and your neighbors were missing out if they weren't watching. ❤

This is BEYOND STUNNING. The hard work and dedication put into this faithful recreation of this magical show is jaw dropping. I saw absolutely blown away by the dragon, the puppets, the characters, lighting, effects, just to mention a few.
