I still think it is all hype. It is promoted . It is not Physical. I have never seened a Bitcoin skyscraper . Can you use bitcoin to buy groceries ? I can't here. Only around 2000 stores allow it. I think cryptos are artificial like the Gov't numbers . I also know The Gov't doesn't allow competition. So, it will be outlawed or replaced. It is too high to buy in. You need electricity to use. You can have it stolen by a high school hacker. It really isn't backed by anything. It still depends on the US dollar . It was supposed to be an answer to the US Dollar. It was supposed to be one million each in first 10 years . Not even $100,000 in 20 years . I will pass . Give me Metals , any metal. I think cryptos are a trap to get people to put all their money in for a get rich quick scheme and then whamo it will be gone and people will lose a lot.

I don't look down at Cryptos. I do, however, consider them speculative, with or without electricity. I consider them the antithesis to my PM stacking motivations and wouldn't risk any cash on them that I couldn't afford to lose. Just like what I would take into a casino. IF Pms and crypto can exist together without conflicts of interests involved, that would be nice. Time will tell us about crypto currencies. Time has already told us regarding Silver and Gold. BTC, ETH, XRP are solid. i bought 30,000,000 XRP years ago. I'm buying my dream car as soon as I find one. Get a cold hardware wallet. You'll need it when XRP goes high and the trading sights get clogged or want to hold your trade. It will allow you to pay out direct wallet to wallet with minimum fees. Crypto is a speculation. Only risk what you can afford to lose. Only take profits on what you want to pay capital gains tax on. Blackrock owns more BTC than anyone.

It's aggravating that we've allowed so many foreign entities positioning and control in our country; many of whom do not reciprocate. As for cryptos, my investments tanked and it took 4 years to finally break even. So I took everything out of Crypto and invested in physical precious metals. I'm still happy with that decision and have no desire to go back.

Crypto is an investment, where I dont see PM's as such. Metals are a hedge. They store your wealth as far as I'm concerned. There is nothing wrong with investing. The chances of an EMP are slim. It could happen though. A few years back, we were 2 weeks away from getting hit with one that would have hurt us bad. It very well could have blacked out half the planet for a year or two. It was a big one, it hit space where our planet was two weeks before. I pray we never get hit with one. I am stacked up pretty good on all the essentials if something does happen. Food, water, ammo, medical supplies, gas, oil, ect. and of course metals. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
