70 hinch lol!
Love mine!
(Six minutes of work) "Well, I think it's time for a coffee break!"
I have the same exact tractor for 3 years now. I love it. One question...have you figured out what the plug with twist cap under the fuse box ...right side in cab is for?
its for the dealer to diognistic any issues with the tractor
We bought an M F 1750 M. bought it with 50 hours from our local Massey dealer who had sold in New. We love our dealer who is a Christian.
Very nice Massey, I can see your truly proud of it
$30k tractor for 25 foot driveway. I love your style... you are my hero !
Hello! I am coming over from Jess' Live. I have subscribed and look forward to checking out your channel! Nice To Meet You !
If it was- -15 degrees below, it anyone wonder where in the hell were you at ,what state, was it January or February, you must have been super bored and nothing else to do, it's rough enough to go deerhunting in that kinda temperature, but it just depends on how much you want to get it done, my hat is off to you sir , congratulations on your new tractor, I'm shopping for the same area of size, massey Ferguson is my main pick as well, good luck, wayneeden95@gmail.com
Anyone looking for other reviews checknout the Varehnberg Implement channel on YT
How are the bees making out this time of year?
They are doing good for now. Can't wait for spring to get here.
Can you still get a new Massy, like to trade for one
I have 12 implements now. A winch is possibly next year for my 1735m massey ferguson
Thanks for the Video! Love my 1740M and 74" snowblower also
Channel keeps getting better and better. Mills, wow many many to chose from. Best of luck choosing, wonder if there are diesel ones, one fuel for everything might be handy.
We were really debating weather to get a winch on the tractor but we ended up getting a skidder. We would have needed a second tractor anyways. Woodland Mills HM130 is great. Though if your planning on making money with your mill get some hydraulics. I do love my woodland mills. Seriously if you look at the part from the woodland and some other high end mills the parts are the same. What I love about them is the customer service after purchase. I've had mine for over 5 years now and broke 2 parts so far because of my own stupidity lol and they always gave me great service. Our logging season is just now starting. almost done the wood lot.
You'll love the snowpusher I have a the same but a 1500 series. I bolted a 3/4 inches cow mat to the backdrag blade it keeps gravel from rolling in the blade with snow, safe on grass too (using float function when backdraging). Just did my 250 hrs maintenance on my 1740m, good machine so far. Thanks for the video
I'm glad you are back. Was the leak in the hydraulics due to missmaintenance or defective equipment? Ah . . . maybe you could consider a colorful cell phone case?
Thanks and I think the leak is due from a bit of both.
Nice tractor! So shiny! Thanks for sharing. We found your channel from a comment you left on GP Outdoors. We'd really appreciate if you'd give our channel a look if you aren't already following us and have a minute. Thanks in advance!
will do l. thanks for the comment
Great review. Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts and info. Cheers from Texas.
Sorry to be offtopic but does someone know a tool to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the password. I would love any assistance you can give me
@Caiden Amos Instablaster :)
@Landon Beckham i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm trying it out now. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
@Landon Beckham it worked and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D Thank you so much you saved my ass!
@Caiden Amos happy to help =)
Thanks for the videos, appreciate your efforts. Are your tires weighted with liquid and if so, how much ballast (weight) did it add?
no they are stock
A little overkill for the yard. Live close ro an acreage? Also, invest in a battery blanket, will start like summertime. Have a 1742, nice units for sure.
Yes a bit over kill for the winter but in the spring-summer-fall I use it for harvesting and maintaining my 800acre woodlot.
I use mine on a small lot. An acre. Summer it sits a lot but winter 400 inches of snow it gets put to work! No such thing as overkill, but comfort, quick, and efficient.
Awesome tractor.. I’m looking into the 1840. Curious as to the cost with the cab?
Works great with that box blade, nice match up.
I believe 1 gallon of water equals 11 lbs. That would put your container at 2750 lbs at 250 gallons of water or liquid.
You mentioned that the dealer dropped the machine off as a demo with the option to buy ... how did you manage that if you don’t mind me asking ?
Use the competition like john deer or kubota as your advantage. At the end of the multiple negotiation days put the keys of the tractor at one end of his desk and your wallet at the other end and tell him to make a choice. It worked for me.
How are things with your tractor? Are you still happy with your purchase?
Yes, I really do like my tractor so far. I only have 40 hrs on it and the best part is the comfort of the cabine. I will also put new videos soon on the new attachments I just purchased. This 40hp tractor is a work horse.
Looking forward to watching your videos for the 2020 season! You are having great success with your walk away splits and I am particularly interested in that. Just got my first two hives this Spring, only two weeks ago. Very exciting!
I have 2019 Massey Ferguson 1735m. I just installed factory rear remote parts. Im curious about your second remote? Does it lock forward?
I noticed that the sight glass for your hydro, is empty! Better check it out.
I’ve got a 1736 for 6 years now. Unless you have dye in the fluid you can’t tell if it’s over or under. Definitely not the best setup for sure. I’ll take a dipstick any day.
Now that's a nice toy buddy! New subscriber here from Castle Hives Live chat.... When you have a chance, please drop over for a visit. Have a great day 😀👍
We can do it!! Just bundle them up!
oh my gosh 4 ft of snow on the ground no thank you !!!
Nice tractor and video, but there's about 5 or 6 video Reviews on TH-cam / No the PTO on the outside comes with the tractor
If I understand your question, yes the PTO comes with the tractor.
@@asmallcanadianbeekeeper5427 The PTO on the outside comes with it/ and there's a lot of reviews on the website
do you know who akes the original air filter, oil filter and the fuel filter ?
I take mine at the Massey dealer. They are all AGCO parts
good show, be safe
Holly shit that's sad. I can't believe that there's people in this world with so much anger....😞
my bees were killed this year for a jerk with a snowmachine he did come back to spray raid in the shield they were in
-15. I am surprised you can talk, I could not if that cold. By the way, very nice machine and video.
Hey, merci beaucoup. Nice tractor and hoping someday to be set up comme meme. MF is one of only 2 brands that started in Canada and I am a bit partial to them because of that alone. Versatile is the other. Looking forward to more tractor video, let us know how she performs in the snow. Maybe if you get a chance root up a stump? Thanks.
Good job, love the MF.
Ouinnn tu me donne le gout de changer mon 1734 E pour un 1740 M. Tres bon video :-)
Cool!! Ben wants to follow his friend beekeaper this summer to lean an maybe get some out here next summer. Nice to meet you.
Good luck in Ben's Bee adventure. Its a fun hobby to have and that honey is the best.
have you had any issues with the Massey?
No problem so fare. Great machine.
It is hard not to love these machines.... 1740e owner
Hey! Saw you on Backyard Bees Premiere tonight and subbed you. Take care!
Very good video showing everything. How was your dealer in GF to deal with?
For the sale of the machine the experience was great.
Full play on the tv. Nice snow shoes. We have some cresent moon snow shoes. Full play. Smashed the like button! Beautiful trail snow covered trail. Beats being in the city. You can think. The air is better too! Best wishes with the bees!
It's always a good idea to keep your entrances clear that way the bees can facilitate good ventilation. If your bottom entrances are closed the bees will not be able to remove a lot of condensation that builds up in the hive. Definitely a lot of snow there my friend and as always thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the advice and yes its a lot of snow. Also 5 days ago we got a cold snap of -40oC that lasted 4 days. I hope the weak hive survived.
@@asmallcanadianbeekeeper5427 👍
Here is an update on trying to root cuttings. It was a failure, none of the cuttings rooted. Why I don't know. 10% leafed out but notting else. So I take this as an experience and will try again some other day. If someone has any feedback I will take anything you got. Thanks
I'm so sorry to hear that. What rooting hormone did you use?
That’s quite a bit of snow. .
Yes its a lot. We get in an average of 3 to 5 feet of snow each year. Good area for winter sports
