I bought this guitar from a guy and he did not have an amp to plug it up to I got it home and the guy said that he just put a new battery in it I co tried to plug it up at home any the electric didn’t work when I checked out the battery compartment the battery was so hot I couldn’t touch it Where can I get new electrical parts for it?

I have both the LPJ hands down but I like my epi a lot.

How's the bass response? I'm thinking to use this for electronic drum practice at home, hoping I can get a halfway decent kick drum from it and play some background music into it, just for practice in a bedroom. Sounds like it may be halfway OK but probably a bit lacking because the speakers themselves are small probably can't get those really deep bass thumbs right?

You have a 2014, mine is a 13 it came with 490and498 pick ups you have to work on them a little bit,but it is the cheapest LPs, get one if you can. That's the only time Gibson,put out a cheap one.

I have had this pa for close to 10 years and they are still working properly and strong with clear tone. I only wish it had a reverb

I just did a BLS Meet and Greet in Houston last Saturday. Really cool experience.

My friend was a gopher at his show early when he was still drinking. He drove him and his band back to hotel. He was given strict instructions not to drive him to a bar no matter how persistent he would be. My friend said Zakk was very intense but not threatening. He asked where the bars were and my friend said they were all closed. When they got to hotel , Zakk thanked him for the 6:41 ride and gave him a bear hug. He said it was a good experience.

I love this guitar and the fact that it wears off so that instrument looks like it was played in ages. I've been playing my LPJ14 for 8 years now and it shows. I got it on my 18 birthday and I have been playing it ever since. Neck is completely worn even the body started to go light where my hand rests. This instrument is just a part of me by now. I'l never sell it. It honestly feels like there's chunk of my soul in this guitar. Even though I hate bat necks this instrument is my main one

Did you have just the regular VIP upgrade or the Mega? In regards to the photo op, do you get a personal photo with Zakk & BLS or was it one of those big group photos that I see on his social media? I can’t do the Mega option (with the guitar), but I’m willing to do the regular option, insomuch I get a personal photo with Zakk & the guys.

Not going to lie I want to meet him as soon as possible because his music has always kept me going in my hardest times and I started to cut back on my alcohol consumption when he decided to stop drinking and now I've been completely sober for 2 years. I'd probably be bawling my eyes out getting to meet him.

My wife just suprised me with North Dakota BLS/Anthrax/Exodus tickets... I live in Illinois (Lol) About an 18 hr trip.. but SOOO worth it. Been a Zakk fan forever. Then she informs me its a meet and greet!! I almost shit. This man is one of my heroes. Music has carried me. And his music is what motivated me to push while trying to learn to walk again during the painful PT after a drunk driver got me in 09. So this is huge for me. And she got me ND tickets so I could go with my best friend. I didn't know what meet and greet included, or if it was just going to be a quick shuffle through and not personal. Now I am super excited, and SO stoked! Thank you for the awesome memory you shared in this video. I am so excited and nervous at the same time to have this experience, and to just tell the band thank you for the push they gave me without even knowing it.

How would you feel this way to work plane electric drums as a beginner? I am just looking for something where I don’t have to use the headphones at a decent price

i think i know why you say its not a LPJ gibson because that friend brought it from took it that off so than its not a lpj what happen that friend just leave that sticker on and leave it aline that will make a lot of difference

I have a white 2013 LPJ. I didn't like the guitar at first due to the Gibson G string tuning issue. I changed the tuners to Grover locking ones and installed a Graphtech Tusq nut and it fixed all the tuning issues. The guitar is fantastic now. I think anyone with a Les Paul or any guitar with a fixed bridge should install a Graphtech nut. Best $20 guitar upgrade ever.

It's sounds great and "better" played acoustically with your strumming/picking hand over the front of the sound hole. Wahi' Valleys

It's an excellent guitar. I have the exact same model and colour. The brightness is from it being a maple neck more than anything else. I have a custom strat, s-500 Fullerton and I had a studio LP. Weirdly, this LPJ, cheapest of the lot has been the most comfortable out of all of them. I love the look of a standard but there's something really nice about how basic and stripped back this is. If it goes out of tune, you bend the strings a few times and retune then it should stay better. 61s are nice pups

I actually got to meet Zakk at a signing in Bakersfield Ca at a guitar center, I believe it was also to promote the wylde audio guitars. One of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. Going to Ventura in October to catch a show, my 2nd. With a VIP pass this time. Can’t wait to meet the fellas.
