I’ve been listening to Midwest emo for years while living on the east coast (jersey). Now that I’m in Ohio I feel a tad more connected to this genre and more understanding. I definitely can’t relate to the homies that grew up here but having a slight understanding of this culture really makes me appreciate this genre so much more. Thanks for the upload

I can't comprehensively explain my top fives of anything, but this is still one of my top five indie pop-punk/midwest emo playlists. I love The Front Bottoms and Tigers Jaw or Camping in Alaska. I'm a "real emo" copy pasta type, so pg.99 or combatwoundedveteran, or iwrotehaikusaboutcannibalisminyouryearbook, fill some other holes. But this mixtape has a special place in my empty heart. And I thank you wholly for your work. This is great, and I'll never forget it
