Apollo (Light), Bellona (Conquest), Caelus (Sky), Ceres (Agriculture), Diana (the Hunt), Janus (Beginnings), Juno (Marriage), Jupiter (Thunder), Mars (War), Mercury (Travelers), Minerva (the Crafts), Neptune (Sea), Ops (Fertility), Pluto (Underworld), Salacia (Saltwater), Saturn (Time), Terra (Earth), Vesta (Hearth), and Vulcan (Metalworking) are some of the Gods the Romans worshipped.
writers knew what they were doing calling him sextus
"Shaped like Christians" I love how this implies Christian have a certain body shape that can easily be identified xD
To tell you the truth, I felt like his 3 descendent and Henry the VIII was way nicer than Nero
“Don’t know, sir”
Bloody hell Ben 🔥🔥🔥

This character of Mat made me write a whole story about a kind gladiator… And you know what, I don’t regret it.
Perfect example of Dark Humor Coming from a devout Christian
They should make "The Axe Factor" for real. You know? Cutting edge TV.
It was kind of based tho
This is so funny haha
Yeah this hilarious skit was actually very spot on the accurate Nero really had a fetish for torturing Christians using them as candles in his Royal garden. if you think that’s bad enough Christians weren’t the only ones persecuted Jews were often persecuted by the Romans to both these two religions at the time were seen as insults. The Romans so anybody who worshiped one god both Christians and Jews were seen as insults to their pagan ways. The name Nero got in persecuting Christians will always stick with him forever is still being debated whether or not in the book of revelations John describes the end of the world and warns of a beast with two horns some say he’s referring to Nero some say he’s referring to watching out for The son of Satan. Basically Nero was so evil to the Christians that he earned the nickname called the Antichrist and he is an Antichrist. This was probably one of the first persecutions of Christianity under the Roman empire they were perfect scapegoats especially when the fires of Rome happened and Nero though evidence shows that he did try to help his people he still went out of his way to build a palace for himself bigger stretching in the places where homes were lost. So he uses the Christians as a scapegoat and with all the sick twisted brutal executions and lavishing enjoyments he showed to the people of Rome. By then many Romans were disgusted by that behavior were actually feeling really bad for the Christian’s in the end.
1:20 mat hiding his laugh behind the stick
I heard them saying that in the interview and I came straight to see it haha
and in the next shot Ben is hiding his head in his hands 😂

Nothing like a good old christian burning !
The idea of living with communal lavatories stresses each out. It’s like living out an actual nightmare.

......This probably was propaganda. Nero was rather a pretty average emperor.
Lol sorry Christians I'm Muslim so I'm not a candle
1:36
I can't stop my laughing oh God 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Gerbil pops out Crowd: *hooray!!!* 🤣
true, or christian propaganda. there is some evidence nero was sqeamish and didnt like gladitorial games and killing, prefering greek forms of entertainments like plays and music. he was certainly not the worst of the emperors, or the christian popes that followed, some of which were downright sadists. cleansing heretic and pagan souls in fire at an almost industrial scale. doing gods work. the romans were polytheists, so didnt have that insane, religious extremist mentality.
This is actually a really powerful critique of polytheism. Bravo
1:01! Oh sorry indeed!
At least, Romans invented toilets, even if it’s considered primitive or gross comparing to nowadays toilets. At that tome of history, other cultures were struggling of dirtiness, diseases, and lack of water,....Even nowadays, and in a developed country that I’ve personally visited, citizens there don’t even wash after defecation (they just use a toilet paper) which is not hygenic. In this video, it’s like laughing at what NOKIA 3310 can’t do ou doesn’t do well.. This is evolution. I don’t agree with teachers (mentioned in the comments) that show specifically this video. I don’t find it that funny..
"I've go the axe and you don't!" Solid argument :)
Indeed.
The noose joke is probably the best joke in the show, IMO.
Please can you explain it
@@tearfulblondie Well, it's parodying the X-Factor, as well as the 7'o clock news, the 9'o clock news and the news at 10, BBC news reports/report time slots. It is also such a lame joke, the joke-writer got killed over it.
I freely admit I only got the joke when it was on the nine o'clock noose.
I love when it's funny the thing does AAAAAAAAAAAAAA😀😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣😅😅
the screams that the people are making are too funny! i know it shouldn't be but it is...lol
7 yrs ago I was 1. Bloody hell how times goes fast
