I was running it inside a VM, and when measuring FPS inside a VM, the FPS can be very inaccurate; all FPS readings were showing very low, but the gameplay was okay. Because of that, I am not able to compare it based on FPS. I did not test it on bare metal, but to answer your question, I would say it is very close to the RTX 4070 but only takes 70W instead of the 200W that the 4070 consumes. It is powerful, but figuring out a quiet cooling solution is hard.

I played different games inside a VM at full 4K resolution and max settings while testing a cooling. The gameplay was very good, but at times, I noticed color distortions or that the colors and details weren't as clear as they should be.

I didn't. I run a virtual machine and have passed through a GPU to the virtual machine. I access the virtual machine remotely on a Mac Mini over Horizon.

no. 405B needs at least 231Gb GPU RAM. you need a 10x 24GB GPU.

I have solved the problem. After configuring the management settings, please do not rush to restart the ESXi server immediately. There appears to be a slight delay in saving the configuration. I completed the management setup and waited for 1 hour, and the IP addresses were successfully saved. Restarting the server no longer erases the settings.

Fast solution for the problem: SSH into the system and execute the "sync" command.

Have you experienced the backup and restore issues on esxi 7.x! I'm unable to upgrade esxi 7.0 to 7.03 and trying to install 7.03 on usb drive but installation is getting stuck on 70% . Can you guide on that!

@@TheNabpro I have had many failures with installing and upgrading 7.x, but it was a long time ago. I think the issue might be related to the storage devices where you want to install ESXi. What are you using? SD card, USB flash drive, NVMe, or SSD drive? I do not recommend using SD cards or USB flash drives as they tend to fail quickly, typically within six months to a year. I would suggest using SATA SSD drives, which are very affordable. Make sure to buy genuine SSD drives from trustworthy local stores,. There are many fake SSD and NVMe drives on eBay, Amazon, and AliExpress that are actually SD cards inside.

No, Fortnite no longer allows playing inside a VM. I think this change happened 4 to 6 months after my video.

Could you please explain what you mean? Are you asking if I should run VMs inside Workstation Pro, utilizing a GPU, or if I should run them on bare-metal ESXi and then use a GPU for rendering?

If you mean running on bare-metal ESXi and then using a GPU for rendering, I also have another TH-cam channel (www.youtube.com/@vAnduCloudGaming) where I game inside a VM. You can observe the performance there. There are only minimal keyboard and mouse latency and minor differences in colors.

GF 3070 was very bad; I do not suggest buying it. For this size monitor, I recommend going for 3090.

I think it was around 1528x903, but I replaced my GPU, and now I am playing all games with 5120x1440 max graphics.

@@DesignerInDesigner I run games on my server using a VMware vSphere hypervisor. I use mac mini to connect with VMware Horizon to the virtual machine I run on my server. I do not run games directly on mac mini. And I use a GPU Geforce 3090 inside my server. I want to be sure that you would understand how I do it before you rush to buy anything. Plus, I have a 10gig connection between the server and mac mini.

I solved the problem when I disabled setting Image Sharpening on Nvidia Controller Panel. Did you use MSI Afterburner or overclock your GPU? If yes, then you have to reinstall your windows because many other games would have a similar problem.

@@awokawok7197 That won't help. Even if you uninstall everything and reinstall, you will have the same problem with other games. The only solution is to reinstall windows and not to overclock. That is the solution that I found. I can redeploy windows quickly because I play inside a virtual machine.

No. I can use ESXi and vCenter web-console without any issue. Even thought I have disabled VMware SVGA 3D Display Adapter.

Hey, I have uploaded all the gameplay movies. You can see it on the right side of FPS. FPS is around 30 (max. graphics setting), but the game runs smoothly.

I am accessing my Virtual Machine (VM) with the Horizon client that I am running on my server. For virtualization software, I am using VMware vSphere 7 U3. I hope I have answered your question?
