Whats up Team!! I am back with my secret love affair with the Smith & Wesson M&P9 Metal Carry Comp 9mm vs my M&P9 Metal 9mm. These are two great EDCs or home defense handguns that should not be overlooked. These are not my typical 2011 EDCs but admire the design and ergonomics of the M&P9 M2.0s. Nice set-up! Is that an inforce? How do you like it compared to other lights?
@@ronaldwoodman224 thanks brother. The inforce light is actually pretty solid. I would put it on the level as the SureFire light. I run it on my 7.62x39 SBR. I never had an issue with it.
i love my 4.25 prodigy. i did my own trigger using different companies and piecing a couple together. i got my trigger down to 1lb. i use it for matches not carry. that ported extension might be a good tool for future matches
That’s what’s up!! 1lb!!! I need to get on my game and learn how to change out triggers. In my opinion, the comp is effective and should work out well for competitions. I appreciate the feedback. Thanks for watching.
Will this comp attachment fit in the prodigy holster
Hey Eric. I don’t know about the Prodigy Holster but it does fit the Blackhawk Omnivore Holster with the SureFire X300A and the Tier One MSP Universal holster with the SureFire 300A and B.

Hey bro. I’m loving it. Always been a fan of S&W M&P. To be honest, the SIG P320 Spector Comp is superior to the Metal Carry Comp. I’m just not a big fan of SIGs. Just a personal preference. Here is the link to my review of the Metal Carry Comp.

Hey Koby!! Although this has a lot of weight to it. Pulling the trigger on this beast sent a shock wave throughout my entire body. These big guns are like nothing us especially shooting long range. A must to shoot if you get an opportunity to do it. Thanks for watching.

This chassis will take the model 20 and model 21 45acp won’t it? Gen3’s
Hey Carlos. Unfortunately I am not familiar enough with the Glock models. I only have the Glock 20 and Glock 34. It says it will take Glock 20 and 21. I would give CAA a call just to be 100% sure. Sorry I couldn’t be any help in this one.
My S&W collection began with the Shield Plus, I love s me smaller weapons and branched over to the Equalizer. My Wife has taken possession of both 😆 After seeing this video I think I'm going to seek permission to take them out for a range run. Excellent work as usual informative enjoyable food for thought 💯
My man!! A wise man once told me, “It is better to ask for forgiveness than seek permission.” I’m not sure what happened to that wise man but I’m sure his wife knows.🤣🤣🤣. All jokes aside, S&W makes some of the most reliable guns in the market. Hopefully S&W semi autos will get back some attention now. The 2011 market has really overshadowed them. Thanks again. Have about 400rds through mine. I didn't notice that buildup at all before cleaning it. I'll def keep a lookout for it.
Hey Big Shot!! Yeah, this really caught me off guard. I never notice that with any of my other ported guns or comp guns. I’m not sure if it’s the ammo was using or the design of the port. I will definitely do some more testing to see if it happens again. Thanks for watching.

I've gotten so used to seeing you with 2011s that it looked very weird with you holding a striker fired gun.😅😅. I own the Metal Carry Comp and I think S&W is off to a good start. I'm going to port the barrel at the top there at the slide opening and I think will tame that muzzle rise. She is a looker!

Mr Blackson, what up my brother, those are nice firearms, and that's some pretty good shooting too. I have the full size competitor, and almost picked up a used compact metal at the same time, but I held off, glad I did cause they now have them in FDE as well, gonna grab one when the stars line up....picking up my Carry Comp this weekend, can't wait to shoot it. S&W give you a lot of gun for the money and the styling on that Carry Comp might just be their best design thus far.

Hey Jack!! The Nighthawks that I own have the less aggressive grips compared to my Atlas grips. I bought my Nighthawks from a FFL so didn’t have the choice to opt for the more aggressive grips. You’re welcome!! One boss to another boss 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Black smith sir.. is that an Ambi IDPA thumb safety Or ambi? For the Atlas.. Atlas have 3 options and there no video how there compare the 3 thumb safety.. im plan my build but im stuck on choice the thumb safety.. thank you
Hey Jack!! I have the IDPA Ambi thumb safeties on my Atlases. They work perfectly for my grip style and shooting techniques for IDPA and USPSA competitions. I never considered getting a wider thumb safety before but prefer the IDPAs. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching.

@@jeffdenson9546 it took a little effort to clean it but it was a heavy build up on carbon. I just took a wire brush to clean it off. I was worried there for a minute. Have a great day brother.

Hey buddy, I forgot to ask you how do you like those thumb rest? Are they comfy awkward great position?
@@carlos8398 hey brother. The thumb rest is super comfortable and at the perfect angle. I tried to them on my other PCCs and SBRs but it didn’t feel the same. CAA did an outstanding job designing the thumb rest just for their MCK.

It’s not too many striker fire guns I like but for some reason M&P9 models just work for me. I like the ergonomic compared to SIG P365s. Unless, S&W comes up with a completely new design. This will be my last one added to my collection. Dropping the review on Thursday.

See your barrel concern but what effects are there on the slide where comes into contact with the compensator face? Is it showing wear or any scoring?
@@ronaldiden758 there is only a heavy build up of carbon but no wear or scoring. I figured out the barrel and it was just a lot of carbon. It took a lot of effort to clean it off but it worked. Thanks for watching.
