Nice run car 🤩🤗
Run them gates bro! Nice job. Cheers
nice lil run! Cheers
I learned that my opinion is I hate gates
Cause I hate setting them up I hate how it’s seems hard but looks easy and idk I guess I’m not a comp guy …. I like watching it though
I’d have to agree this is the first time I’ve ran them it’s challenging but I like to just freestyle & trail runs are actually more fun.
@@Casitascrawlers like I wouldn’t mind going to a comp once in awhile but setting up my own gates just is not fun to me
Running gates is much harder than most realize, great job 🤙😊
@@SCRedneckRC-Tony Especially with the darn selfie stick in the other hand.😂
🤙
Nice crawl 👍 those rock pirates shock towers look good on the fusion. How do you like the desert lizards on it?
@@NEO-RC The Rock Pirates towers give you much more position options & the Shocks are awesome I have them set up in the droop position & they never leak oil. They come with a bunch of running options & extra springs.
@@Casitascrawlers I have the same setup on my ascent. DL’s in 3/4 droop and rock pirates shock towers. I’ve never had a set of desert lizards leak yet and I have them on 3 or 4 trucks
Nice slow crawl 🤙
That’s a cool rock racer! Been sold out for a bit.
They used to come in a kit also I hadn’t had mine for along time so I had to take it out.

just love that scale town, so incredibly cool and detailed. Very cool video. 👍 I’d say I’d like to go, but not to that state.
Cool spot 🤙
Nice crack …. Lmao
@@Super1handed_rc It was just incredible how many lines there were to crawl & then they had trails that were made & a mini course.
That looked like so much fun
So wish I was there
@@Super1handed_rc That’s why I post as much as I can I remember watching all the Proline videos because there were so many cool rigs so I post just so others can see how cool these features & courses are it’s amazing I did two night crawls & stayed out till midnight with a ton of other people & one course had Xmas lights the entire way up & down it was a sight to see at night you just don’t see stuff like that. People just having fun.
Nice! Hope you had fun. Cheers
@@jamesrcgarage6733 it was epic I was able to see this new chassis for a TRXM platform that is one solid chassis & a bunch of other new releases but to be honest I spent almost all my time on the rocks I had a scale rig for scale town mini crawlers for the mini course comp style crawlers for hard lines & a few bashers. I did two night runs & was out on the trails till midnight with a ton of others one of the courses built had Xmas lights the entire way up & down it was just people having fun with awesome views & 420 in the air. 👍 But I’m trying to get as much stuff as I can out so people can enjoy some of the cool features.
@@Casitascrawlers thats awesome brother!
Nice 🤙
That can’t be the stock motor ?
💯 stock the Windigo is supposed to be a Rock Racer but it came with a 3s brushless system I took it off road as well even got a little air time it’s super fun I’ve had it for along time but it doesn’t get out much so I had to get her out. 👍
@@Casitascrawlers that’s cool …rock ripper 🤘🏻
Nice😮
@@gerrysoldguyreview She’s fast for sure.👍
Great crawl
Thanks I got rid of the 100 gal fuel cell 😂 but I just saw some new ideas about the back open bed so I may change it again but everything else is now how I want it the brushed Injora purple motor & low gear trans have been great & has a good quiet low speed crawl but I’m waiting for the brushless Purple viper motors to come in I just ordered them they where out of stock for awhile.
So why the V2 this is the versus I’m going to stay with I replace the chassis with the new Injora LCG chassis replaced the shocks with Injora, put on new Injora tires, added some scale items. The wheels in the front didn’t fit with the Meus front brass but the wheel dish is adjustable so I just turned the dish towards the outside & cleared everything with no issues. The original sliders do not work with the LCG chassis they will go on but they are tapered & angled so when you tighten the bolts it twists the sliders super bad they buckle but you could try cutting them so they are straight because the LCG chassis is straight. I already ordered & have the correct Injora sliders & you’ll notice when you order there will be two selections one being curved for the original chassis & the 2nd straight for the LCG chassis. I’m running the Injora trans & purple motor & it has a very good slow crawl I could leave it & be fine. The Injora Fat Vipers are now back in stock for both the Ascent 18 & TRXM so I ordered 2 & also the new Ascent 18 chassis mounts. As is right now it’s absolutely amazing so much fun it is a little heavy so the brushless set up will no doubt be better. I don’t see a need to add more weight by adding metal axles I think having the plastic ones is a good thing. For now😂 But if you wanted a great money saving rig I’d go *Redcat Ascent 18 * Injora I60 body & Injora trans & motor & of course your choice of wheels & tires. So complete Ascent & Injora body & still under $200 not bad. I’m actually starting to think about getting another but it’s time for me to build a SCX 24 rig I have a painted body so I just need to start ordering parts. Happy Trails. 👍
I wish! I was sick and it was 115degrees out :)))
@@Djkommode That’s not a good combo hope ya feel better we’ve had a heat wave but today is better & by Tuesday it’ll be back in the 70’s. 👍
That was satisfying
Cool 🤙
The Terminator😎 So far it’s been reliable fun & fast this is the Brushless version & almost all stock a lot of people have been upgrading the motor to make it faster but I’m gunna run it till something blows up.😂 But I do here if you upgrade the esc to 4s the motor can handle it & I do have 4s capable esc but I’m running it on a 3s 120 cell battery the stock one was a 3s 35c so mine is alot faster then you would think. I take it out all the time mostly because it’s the perfect size hauling around the Fireteam etc. is like carrying a baby around. I definitely recommend it I wouldn’t mind getting a roller & make a super fast version I’d recommend getting the roller kit if you decide to get one. 👍
Best looking Ascent out there🤙
@@SCRedneckRC-Tony Thanks I’ve found a few that where amazing builds Injora just posted a picture of a i60 build with Red paint that is incredible I think it’s in the TRXM platform. 👍
Super sweet rig
Looks like it's a beast
You can do it I know you can just make more videos
For anyone wanting to use the Injora body on their Ascent 18 you can see the rear mount I used the swing mount from the Injora body after that the body sat on the rails & on the front bumper perfectly I didn’t have to do any modifications the rest is up to how you want to build yours ride height etc. I was able to use the front mounts where the front body snaps in but the bracket on the frame sits to high so it has to be lowered if you wan to use the clip or just use Velcro or magnets. Im using Velcro for now till I figure out what I wan to do with the front mounts & bumpers. But anyone into RC ya don’t need my help it’s real simple. 👍
What all needed to be done to make the body fit?
@@Justin_Newman Al last nothing I removed the original back bumper & used the mount that came with the Injora body & mounted it to the back frame rails after that it literally sat right on the sliders & front bumper just like the original body the original front Redcat clip actually worked & the front could be clippped in but it sits to high so you have to lower the front mount or just use Velcro or magnets. I’m using Velcro just for now until I figure out which front number I’m going to use you can use either the original or one that came with the Injora body.
@@Justin_Newman But everything cleared the body nothing on the chassis had to be cut I have high clearance links & the Injora transmission & metal gears. I’m probably going to get the Injora LCG chassis for it eventually but I’m pretty happy with it using the original chassis & it’s a good money saver. The price of just the Ascent 18 & Injora body is still a pretty low price.
That fuel cell gotta be 100 gallons lol
@@Super1handed_rc I had it sitting around so I temporarily put it in the back because it was a good color match & covered the sec & wiring but I’m looking at some others that have smaller tops the one I have actually just came as a flat top or I may cut it down or not even put anything back there not sure it actually doesn’t look that bad with just the open back. You could probably make one pretty easy rests what I like about building stuff you have tons of options. 👍Thanks
@@Casitascrawlers looks fine better than open wires
I like rocks ….. lol nice crawling spot
Awesome 🤙
Maybe a touch more weight on the front ?
@@SCRedneckRC-Tony Ya it was asking a lot the things I was putting them through but I have a brass servo mount maybe something brass on the axles it has Injora heavy beadlocks as well but I’m going to try stiffer inserts the TRX went right up it goes to show ya everything makes a difference.
I really don’t care for longer videos but this was a good look at how these 2 run differently I think the TRX with the Ruptures has an advantage with those tires but I’ve noticed that the FMS pulls left & not just here it could be tires or inserts ?? hard to say but it’s what made it harder to get up 8 had to run the TRX back up it I second time as kind of a Really! 😂 If you spend time with both of these you find out differences for sure. I think maybe the FMS insert’s need to be stiffer? What do you think?
Not bad for a first run I definitely have some running to do & softer tire inserts definitely. I also have to find out the tuning sweet spots on the Flysky 5 it really effects everything so you have to get the settings correct or your going to have issues. As soon as the Injora brushless comes back into stock which I think it is now I’ll switch over.
Nice!
Leafs have no grip lol
I had both the TRX4 Bronco & the FMS10 Blazer out for some hard run time both got pushed pretty hard I didn’t have any issues at all but it was almost painful to watch this video it’s a bit long for me but it shows first hand how these two go up the same climb. The only difference I’ve been noticing is the FMS always pulls to the left when on tuff spots could be anything & I think the Rupture tires on the TRX give it an advantage especially with clearance. But this climb is a two step slick & loose step up & gives no room in between the two steps so once you get up the first you have to turn to clear your front to get up the second which is steeper so you have to hook the front tires & pull up then slide to the right to clear your chassis. Having a smaller body or shorter wheel base makes this climb a little easier but these two are large & in charge so it made it that much more harder. The bodies definitely got some new battle scar’s. 👍🙌💯
🤙
Nice crawl 🤙
You need to bring a small broom sweep away the loose stuff lol
@@Super1handed_rc You wouldn’t believe how many times I’ve said this to myself especially in the Fall. Maybe I’ll get a old broom & sticker it up so I’ll bring it. 🤷🏻♂️😂
Looks great 👍
Nice! And it's good to see old stomping grounds
