    actually I have an unrelated question, do you have a walker you would recommend for a patient with Parkinsons, my husband in 6'1 and has had Parkinson for over 10 years, he is 65 now, sometimes the drugs work but lately having more off times, he uses a standard walker but doesn't like the rolator, he has balance issues and freezes

The shoe sole is super RIGID & great comfort for walking. Putting it one was a breeze too. I just went for a 1 hour walk and had no troubles whatsoever with my bunion! Just make sure you order the double EE size if you have wider feet!

    Hi what is home health Medicare part a and b , how do I know if the employer or future employer offers part a or b Medicare

    • @TrevorMinerPTDPT
      @TrevorMinerPTDPT 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      "Home Health" is Medicare part A. Physical therapy provided under Medicare part B is outpatient. Medicare part B CAN be provided in the home, but is still outpatient not home health. You should be able to find the agency listed online as a certified Med A provider. Under Med B the agency will pay less and expect longer visits because they need enough units whereas there are no units for Med A.

    Everywhere I have worked, therapists are not always on call. The nurses are. And no one expects anyone to respond to emails or calls when they are off. Also not knowing about a home health admission is rare. There is usually constant communication between the sales team and the patient up to and sometimes past the start of care visit. All other pros and cons are pretty spot on.

    • @jenniferh189
      @jenniferh189 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree with the comment that we are on call. If you want to get referrals, you better have your phone with you all the time. And if the agency needs something, an order or whatnot, they get crabby if you can’t get it to them quickly and that will impact your referral volume

    as an RN, I have been called "doctor" by my patients for most the second part of my life, maybe due to my extensive experience and knowledge; even more so, now that I am retired and have a home health part time job. I always thanked them for the compliment but reminded them of my real status to avoid tensions with physicians. Thanks for this useful video.
