This is why I never liked your videos. You’re pushing your views onto the rest of us portraying them as the correct way and how things should be. You do realize that Ezio, Edward, Connor and even to an extent Altair’s endings were happy at least for them? Because in most contexts they’re still pretty tragic even if it was mostly happy. Altair was happily married to Maria for many years and had two children with him, but both one son and his wife were killed-Maria by his own hand-and he died alone in Masiaf of old age. The only solace was that he got to say goodbye to his only surviving son. Ezio was happily married to Sofia and had two children, but he died of a heart attack when his daughter was only nine and right in front of her. Embers is a sad film for a fucking reason. Edward was happily married and was able to raise his kids up until he was killed right in front of Haytham in a home invasion. And Connor, so far as I know, faired the best as he had three kids and died of old age but unfortunately was never able to reconnect with his tribe. Assassins always have tragic lives even after getting “happy” endings because sometimes that just how life works. It’s not because they’re killers and don’t deserve it. Jesus Christ. Are you serious right now with that asinine take?!

They definitely tried to evoke a sense in Arno that he never really moved on with his father's death until he came to terms with Elise's death in Dead Kings in the way he always pulls out his pocket watch and also tries to retrieve his pocket watch that always keeps getting stolen, but it was definitely a story element they fell short on.

You missed the point. In history, the original Assassin's creed were annihilated by the VERY STRONG MONGOL EMPIRE. These were made up (a game that just needs 1-3, but it got milked out too much). A better end is let ASSASSIN'S CREED 1, 2, AND 3 end there, but you know how gaming industry just say hey it sells well.......MAKE MORE. Don't cry on made up stuff and just focus on real ones (look outside). Gaming industry is dying ok, just go and find something worthwhile.

About Ezio, in Ac Revelations he decided to give up with Assassins life after murdering all that innocents in Cappadocia, various elements about it for example in Valhalla's files, suggests that he was truly traumatised by his later actions and he lived with it, in fact during Ac Ember he was truly stressed and sad. I also love the Arno story (they all criticized it for no reason), his all life was a sequence of tragedies, because he had a way of being that involved him in so many mistakes, he lost is father because he came late, but wasn't his fault, he wanted to explore like all the childrens, he lost De La Serre because he does not deliver the message, but wasn't his fault because he wanted to stay with Elise and cannot know what can come. He then matured and wanted always to protect Elise because he doesnt want to lose her, but he lost her, this tike because the destiny want it like that, he did all that he could do, but wasn't enough, it's very sad and tragic, because Arno was a pure person.

I think that in reality the Florence sequence has some of the best lines in the game, the dialogues with the victims are more intense than the one during the main plot, it reminds me more of Ac1, or I was impressed by a dialogue between two women, they were saying something like "I would like the Assassin to return" "They are all tales!!" "No. My father saw it once, at San Gimignano, long time ago" and it's just crazy that you realize that someone in the crowd see you while killing some target in the First Sequences of the game, put you in terms with the time passing by.

I think Jesper Kyd really understood this aspect of Ezio's character well. Tracks like Sanctuary or Home in Florence really have this underlying sadness in them, I like to think it adds to Ezio's ability to blend into crowds. He's dead and empty inside and the lifelessness helps him just roam about unnoticed by a city brimming with life.

To be honest at first when I heard the protagonist was black I was like what? Why are we getting a black protagonist in a Japanese game but when they said it was a historical figure I was intrigued and started doing some research of my own and found some strange things. Usually I don't like to use Wikipedia to look for information because anyone can just go and change the information. (I'll get to this in a bit) So I looked on academic and historical archive websites and foud that it is not 100% confirm if he was a samurai or not. He was sold to Nobunaga as a servant and with time he proved his loyalty but it is never staited that he was made a Samurai by Nobunaga because when Nobunaga was assassinated Yasuke escaped and in japanese culture if a samurai under a master loses said master the samurai most commit harakiri to maintain his honor and because he faild to defend his master so if yasuke was a samurai and he ran away then that's means he isn't no longer a samurai but a ronnin but if he was supposed to be made a samurai when his master was killed then he would be a samurai without a master or something along does lines although he would technically be more of s ronnin than a samurai. Going back to Wikipedia thing from the beginning I saw video of people hating on the game because they were painting Yauske as samurai when he really was not jet in my sources said that this specific part os not 100% confirmed but im this video this japanese gamer he compared two wikipedia entries with the western one stating that he was indeed a samurai and the japanese wikipedia entrie said that he was never a samurai in the firt place. I checked both on my own and yes they had conflicting info with both stating that there's evidence when in reality there's no information at all to neither confirm nor deny if he was a samurai. Wich has become one heck of a war online. The game does have great potential I'm not gonna lie but there's certain desicions done by ubi that I condemned but I'm also mad with the way some people have come to attack this doing it from s place of hate and ignorance and does people sadly are in the wrong.

Ezio is one of the best video game characters ever, he is the only complete Character that you actually get to see grow, even with Altair, so much of his life was skipped over and his story could have been more fleshed out which would have been cool because Altair himself is still quite a mystery, Ezio's story was Fleshed out across 5 games and this is why Ezio pretty much is the standard of Assassins Creed now.

I look at the assassins like the Jedi Order. When Bayek first started the order they weren't adjusted as a faction and had leeway with rules. And as time went on tradition and tenants were put in place to maintain stability. Altair and his assassins were calculated, emotionless and walking weapons. It wasnt until he took over did the rules start to dwindle a bit. Assassins were then allowed relationships and connections. However after Ezio the order got carried away with power hungry, controlling and stubborn people in charge, which caused the Colonial Brotherhood to be crippled and destroyed by Shay Cormac. It wasnt until Connor restored it that the assassins truly thrived together with their divisions in every country. So i think assassin personalities and ways of doing things varies depending on the time period. Bayeks time they were less careful and not a big group. Altairs they were scary, mythical legends. Ezio's they were maintained and given proper lives and balance. Colonial Times were the dark ages for them
