And not just for books, but also a shop recommendation 💗 I have not had the opportunity to read A Moveable Feast, but I think after reading The Paris Bookseller, I'm so interested to really hear what was happening in the original Shakespeare and Company. Also, what what each of the authors were really up to. I've been thinking about picking up Sylvia Beach's Biography 😅 So many books I need to read!

@@melissas_cozy_corner when i read the book thoroughly mental illness never came to my mind. I thought it was nora as a girl trying to figure out her life between the death and life. So i was shocked when i heard it was a mental illness. I might have not heard about it.

@snehashrestha4884 oh! I see! It is truly amazing how we can all read the same book and we get something different out of it. 💓 When I was reading it, I definitely also saw the dance between life and death. I just was, I think, drawn more to the idea of regrets and how we also question the "What ifs" of life. However, no matter which way we go, there will always be "what ifs" and we just need to live the life we have chosen to the fullest and make the best of what we got. So I agree, way more than just mental illness. But I think we do look at depression in this novel in a different way and how some people may struggle with it. So fascinating though to hear your thoughts! Thank you for sharing 💗

Hello! I think this is a hard question to answer... The content of this book brings up some very hard subjects and ideas that I think most people would consider appropriate for mature children, young adults, or adults. I would look up content warnings. However, the writing style itself is easy to read and the concepts are not difficult to grasp. So it is really dependent on the content itself.

@@Trxsis If you are looking to books for 12 year olds, I think Disc World (book series) would be really great. There are many different books in the world and they have many different story lines.

The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson and Camilla by Sheridan Le Fanu are two books I definitely want to read during this year's spooky season

To be honest, I don't remember if there were kissing, I believe there was. But it is not an adult book like that. If it was kissing, it was just a sweet small kiss saying hello. But I don't believe there was cussing or any "inappropriate scenes

I've never read Nancy Drew, but I think it would be so fun to sit down and read some of the stories. Maybe I'll have to pick up the one from Carolyn Keene 🥰 (I just saw there are 613 stories, so won't read them all 😅). I really enjoyed the Morisaki Bookshop and the first one from the Before the Coffee Gets Cold and would love to read the next ones. Have you enjoyed the others as much as the first one?
