Please do one for Dylan Gossett!!
Now you gotta do one for Dylan Gossett!! Between Zach and Dylan, they are both huge!
I went to school with him. Kate McConnon was inspired by his high school ex girlfriend leaving him for another guy. I got in a fight with that guy once haha
Colter and Jewel duet
Am I the only one getting nothing but post Malone tour ads? Missing the target audience a tad lol
Colter Wall mentioned 🗣️🗣️🗣️
Taliban song?
Hes not an outlaw hes a singer....
Woah shout out to cincy!
outlaw lol
Great video man!
Good looking man without that beard...good looking with...but...time for a shave, Chris. But if the wife likes it...
I worked with him in prescott, and I can attest he went through a major transformation.
Been listening to this guy since he started, gotta say me and the boys still crank white house road when we get a.little rowdy lol. Somethin about it just makes you wanna get up and put out a rebel yell. Atleast we always do lol, a good fire, good food, cold beer and good music always brings all the people in the holler together. God bless from ole Carolina.
I found this dude from the movie Hell or High water, when it came out, his song sleepin on the black top was in it. Had that shit on repeat for a good while lol.
This guy reminds me of Colby Acuff so much! we meed a video about Colby Acuff
Lol him and his gf were my neighbors
I would love to hear him record own heart s delite as a duet with someone like Sierra Ferall
Even the man narrating this video truly compliments and paints an awesome image to Colter Walls work. He should introduce him for his concerts! Respect to both. Love this video! 💯🇺🇸💪🏼
An outlaw is much different than a musician
I don't think you have the correct definition of 'outlaw' there, friend
Waiting for the outlaw part....... 1%er ff 1%er
This video isn't very good. Good try
My mom suprised me with tickets to his Atlanta show after hearing me late at night learning almost everyone of his songs on the guitar and when she told me we were going I was beaming ear to ear because I get to see this Canadian legend
his dad is brad wall - He is the fourth longest-tenured premier in the province's history im scottish so guess thats like PM here or governor in america?
It's more analogous to governor in the US, I think. while in Scotland you have a Scottish first minister you're a separate country rather than a province within the UK so it's a little different. the premier runs the provincial governments and ministries and is beholden to the federal government (PM).
what made him a legend to me is saying no to rogan and staying at the ranch to work
First albums as an independent sounded much more unique to him imo. The more polished stuff gets a tad middle of the road.
I think its funny how people discovered Chris Stapleton in 2015 with Traveller as if he was some new upcoming artist. He made incredible music with the Steeldrivers back in 2007 -2010 that just can't be beat. And again with the Jompson Brothers before going solo. And his song writing was just as good back then as now. There was no growing into something big and better. He always was big in my eyes. No one like him. A truly gifted man and humble too from all the interviews I've seen. The world needs more artist like him.
Little Songs is easily one of his greatest albums, I love it so much I listen to it all the time
Crazy Fact: "Caroline" was the first song Colter Wall wrote
I don't listen to country, but his first 2 albums are classics for me.
Modern day outlaw is a bit of a stretch. I don't think this Colter is walking into bars and trying to get in gun fights with the fastest gun in town.
I’m interested in your opinion on Bob fudge by colter wall too the way you talk about the other songs make me wonder what you think on it
I think Colter Wall could've been Zach Bryan, but decided he didn't like this shit that much.
Not a fan of his new music though.
Oh come on for somebody that has a whole page dedicated to Western, you do a great job of just handing out the title outlaw. So would that make Morgan Wallen an outlaw too? Colter Walls a great artist, probably one of my favorites but the real outlaws that paved the way would not appreciate that.
You sound like the guys that think Rappers have to kill, be shot or sell drugs to be able to sing. You can't sing a song about drinking unless your a chronic alcoholic, or drug use unless your a junkie.
Been subbed for a few months now, great channel very undderated keep doing what your doing man
I’m from Saskatchewan and have followed Colter’s career from his early years. You captured the essence of his music, the prairie plains with great accuracy and detail. You clearly do your research and care about authenticity when speaking about an artist. That’s rare and needs to commended. Brilliant work!
He and his band are amazingly nice guys. Wound up eating next to them all at a burger joint across from the Tower Theater in OKC before a show one night. Walked back across the street with them talking about music and life before the doors opened. Super Super nice guys
Massive Stapleton fan from Australia. That man can do no wrong and is forever playing in my car.
His concert is on my bucket list. He’s incredible! He’s unique! He’s special! Love his music, all of it but the last one is my favorite! He’s a chocolate milk and eggo’s kinda dad and I’m glad to see that side of him. Mint tea is also a great song to sit with a glass of wine and watch a sunset . He is so authentic!
What’s the guitar at 17:17? It looks like a Les Paul body shape, but the headstock looks much older than most Les Pauls… either way, it’s stunning!!
As far as I can tell it's a yellow danelectro U2 56 or 57 reissue
@ I looked it up and you may be right… Very vintage styling. Beautiful guitars
His Dad Brad Wall bought Waylon Jennings 1966 Chevrolet convertible at an auction a few years ago, apparently his dad was a cowboy at heart, after he got out of politics he settled down & bought a operating cattle ranch in Southern Saskatchewan whare he still lives & works today
"cowpoke" was also a cover - a great cover
Bald butte, cypress hills, Caroline
What’s funny is I actually much prefer his newer music. His older music is GREAT don’t get me wrong- gritty, raw, reminds me of dark southern music. But his music now, the way he has had to change his voice…. Reminds me of growing up in the prairies and is so much more relatable to me.
I watch countless videos of cash, nelson and Jennings and others. I see so many comments saying you don't hear music like this anymore, well colter is proof that you're not looking. Top class artist. Also sierra ferrell is unbelievable. Great artist's keeping great music alive.
Sad thing i have with his studio songs is that the instruments are louder than his voice and it ruins it for me, so many amazing awesome songs but ruined by balance it really is a shame. Cause I love his music.
I think it was around this time of the year that I stumbled upon Colter and back then I was only getting into western songs and such, I was already obsessed with cowboy movies, history, etc. Sleeping on the Blacktop, Kate McCannon and The Devil Wears a Suit and Tie is probably my favorite songs so far. I like the recent albums too, but that growl, dark western is just soo much more interesting to listen to (especially since it's focused around Appalachia). You should check out Shawn James too, he's a beast too.
He’s a 20 something year old who’s been smoking a pack of non-filters and putting down a fifth every day for 50 years
