Gate carbon belt drive is not a new thing. No part is new. What they did is better battery and durable frame and cable management plus lights. No wonder most were sold at 50+% discount through Best Buy, where I bought. What bite me is that you can’t fit other kind of valves in wheels and ride is really hide. I still have to find good fitting rear view mirror. About motor, Brose didn’t even licensed them to use Brose app for their controller, so all is synced with serial 1 owned proprietary app. Having serial 1 app is gone, bike still works BUT you can’t program enviolo with controller to work together to get transparently see riding data and efficiency. All these is well done by rookies in ebike industry and Harley Davidson failed in that. They just cashed in with their brand name. Honestly, if you have $3000 to spare, budget another $3000 and buy Reese and Muller or some other well built and supported European brand. Or buy serial 1 as a collectible to be stored in OEM package to be sold in antique market 20-50 years later to satisfy whims and ego of some neo rich, trust baby or museum, to bet for some profit.

Serial 1 is sold of to LEV. No support. Its app disappeared. Controller and IGH no longer sync.

Good morning I'm just getting ready to have a transfer case put in. I paid $1000. For the part and $700 for labor. i just tried this ... had small thorn puncture the tire. Slowed down the leak but did not stop it. its a waste of money

I have been using flatout for a few years now been all over the place with thorns and glass and no flats. I love that stuff for me It just works. Run my tires at 34 psi .

After you put the stopleak in you want it to leak, find the hole and get into it and seal it. Now as is if you put 20 lbs in it will expand the hole and start it to leak again.

I test rode several ebikes before deciding to purchase a Serial 1. After two years of ownership I'm very happy with my Serial 1. Mine is the Rush/City Step thru large Gen 1 version which lacks certain features found on the Gen 2 but not a deal breaker. I paid $2,500 with tire liners and suspension seat post and upgraded seat. I'm 200lbs ride 60% flat 40% hills and get 50 miles per charge. I wish my bike had a suspension fork but not having to switch gears nice. Do your homework and choose the ebike thats best for you.

Are you using the flat out version formulated for fat bike tires?

Makes tire pressure more denser or once air is in tire, the feel when doing the wide pinch feel is rock solid as long as you keep within psi max. I ride thru crap and loud noises from tire running over crap and even flicking it out like a jet from back and good reasons to use fenders or mud guards ( stuff gets jetted out under tire towards your groin area). Flat out is a great safer than sorry approach of the need to avoid flats on long trips, especially avoiding fat tires for its a bit more effort to keep inner line rim when inflating.

My Cyrusher XF800 does 30 and was less than $1500 Black Friday. Love it so far.

I would really be interested to know how the flatout application has gone. I put it into a tube outside of the tire, that had a pin prick and it leaked out and did not hold a seal. could it be because the tube was not in the tire? I had high hopes for flatout and then put 3/4 of the bottle into the tube but it would not hold, I did get it to hold for a few hours but then then I moved it and it broke the so called seal and all the air went out. also I found that the so called seal that forms never hardened at all, even after 2 days. even if the tube is in the tire it is going to be moving and flexing somewhat, when I read the positive reviews on amazon they look a little bit too positive, such as "the best thing that ever happened to me in my life" etc.

A similar product called Slime has been around over 50 years. and these liquid sealants double as a tire balancing fluid/ Forget trying to make a patch repair if using this. Also will work on tubeless tires.

I have a black Freedom coming in November. Curious how is yours holding up? Have you had any issues?
