Im just going to leave this here and see if it goes anywhere: Who is the best Captain in One Piece? I'm not asking who is the strongest, I am not asking who is the smartest or wisest, I am not asking who is wealthiest, or most famous. I am asking who out of ALL of the One Piece captains, is the best captain/leader of the crew? Makes the tough decisions, looks out for every crew member as much as any other, manages their crew and its operations/plans moving forward the best as well. Just to be absolutely sure most don't take the easy answer and just say "Luffy", name the top 3-5. I'll start... 1- Shanks 2- Zeff 3- Luffy (Ill be honest Luffy is terrible with logistics of being captain, but he's just so damn good at the other traits I listed, I have to give him bronze at least.) 4- Smoker (Marine Captains count.) 5- Whitebeard

Y'all boy Oda has made it clear he doesn't want his story to be "too serious". That basically means he doesnt want to have to create any high stakes type of energy around any storyline, which means the comedy characters (ussop) will be used even more for comedy and almost not used at all for serious scenes.

No it didn't ruin One Piece , but it certainly ruined every Luffy fight from Wano and afterwards.This is just Oda middlefingering every fan that had high expectations of Luffy rubbing the "I own One Piece and if you don't like it you just hate me , I'm the best" on their faces.I''still watch One Piece for its mysteries , its battles , its worldbuilding etc. but Luffy's new powers are more cringe than Boruto now and that's a very tough pill to swallow. One Piece before the Timeskip was a magical , emotional , passionate series. Now it's just cog in the machine Oda's monthly check..............oh and did you think that Manga is ending any time soon?We're at Elbaf now and our heroes have been running away from enormous beasts for two consecutive chapters.Procced to continue with your life because One Piece isn't ending in less than 10 years from today...........just write down the chapter you left it and leave it.Oh yes also don't get me started on how Oda can't kill a single damn important character anymore lol.

I just came here to see if people feel the same way I do. I use to wait every Sunday to watch the new one piece but I've completely lost interest since the egghead arch and gear 5. Before gear 5, even with "Bounce Man," it always seems liked luffy was leveling up from fighting his opponents and the strength and willpower was his alone. I feel like gear 5 COMPLETELY took that away from him. Now it's no longer luffy being a bit of a fighting genius with strong will and ideas to push his rubber body to the limits but instead just an OP devil fruit that "awakened." In every anime, you kind of know the main character will end up on top but you want to see a struggle at least. Now, to me anyway, when I see gear 5, I just know he's going to win easily and look ridiculous while doing it. (I don't enjoy the gear 5 fight scenes personally.) The only fight I can see worth watching that will give that old feeling of, "luffy might be in trouble" would be him vs blackbeard. However, that's too far away and I don't know if I can keep interest till then. Also, (spoiler alert) when Vegapunk talks about the devil fruits simply being people's dreams come to life (more of less) I really, really started to lose interest. I was personally let down by the devil fruits having such a silly origin that anyone could think of. I guess after writing this I realize, I've just been let down by the show lately and that's why I'm losing interest. I know not everyone will feel this way but these are my thoughts on the matter. The shanks vs Kid episode was awesome though.

I think what judge is missing is emotions can trigger higher levels of haki and power and getting rid of them nerfs their true potential. So even though he was the weakest sibling his emotions will cause him to reach higher levels of power

Enes lobby had one of the best lines in history which you prolly know and it shows for the first time how important to the team to get back not robin but how they handled losing a part of their team. egghead fits one pieces happy style but its missing some of the dark tones that made one piece a good well written story and enes lobby one pieces best arc in the animes history

Another thing a lot of people don't like to acknowledge or they like to put their own head canon is the whole "WSS" title. In the title in general when it comes to its stating that mihawk's sword skills is better than shanks's sword skills. So now a lot of shanks fans are saying mihawk is not stronger than shanks, ITS HIS SKILL that is better than shanks. But, at the end of the day, thats just a head canon. Im just gonna go ahead and paint the picture for you to give you a stronger grasp of the power of mihawk and they're literally telling you how strong mihawk is without having mihawk show his full power. Yet, its a reason they haven't showed his full power. Yet, its a reason why they haven't shown us his full power yet within the series. So boom, I'm gonna pop up a definition from the Oxford dictionary. If shanks used an attack called "divine departure" used with advanced conquerors haki to fuel that attack and one tapped a pirate named "eustass Kidd" and if mihawk and they stated WORD FOR WORD, BAR FOR BAR, his skill is better than shanks himself. We see the definition of skill "Also, an ability to preform a function". Mihawk's ability is to preform a function is better than shanks. Shanks used a divine departure attack with advanced conquerors haki so that means mihawk's ability to we could even say use the same attack. Mihawk's ability to do that attack will always be better than shanks. Plain and simple

Luffy got the absolute worst fate after leaving Wano and still managed to survive so far. Crazy how much of a turn things took in egghead! Just shows how strong Luffy has become. If you aren’t there in the story, you’re gonna love it!

All the years I spent watching One Piece was a fucking waste been watching this shit since 2014. I don't know how people can still watch One Piece after the reveal of gear 5 it's not about whether or not it ruined attention it's about how it ruined the actual story the reveal that the world government's been looking for the gum gum fruit discredits everything that's happened in one piece especially Enies Lobby because he stood in front of the world government declared them his enemy and they know he's had the gum gum fruit for a long time now and there wasn't even a hint and not even a casual throwaway line that they were looking for the fruit. Now I know for a fact that Oda will throw anything on the page, and you guys will eat it up.

The only thing I hate about Gear 5 is the fact that the elder stars must be the dumbest idiots for not putting a huge bounty on Luffy or sending all their agents after him early on if they knew he was such a ticking time bomb. They literally let Luffy run amok until he reached his peak before having a CP0 agent try to take him out. The five elders and Imu are a bunch of Goofy Goobers for letting things reach this point with Luffy if they always knew the fruit contained the power of a God.
