Banana Bread Recipe: 3 very ripe bananas 1/2 cup softened butter 3/4 cup sugar 2 eggs 1 1/2 cups AP flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 salt 1/2 tsp vanilla 1 cup chopped pecans Preheat oven to 350°F. I have never heard of leather britches before or seen anyone do this!
I love shuck beans there my favorite. We have them every year especially at Thanksgiving. My Uncle makes the best shuck beans just like his Momma ( my grandmother) and chicken and dumplings.That’s what we call them in East Tennessee ❤

Hey there from the North Georgia Mountains! My Grandmother used to hang her leather britches on the porch until they dried. Then she would put them in freezer bags and put them in the freezer. It’s awesome to see you preserving your beans like this!

I was born and raised on a farm in Mississippi but have never heard of leather britches. Wow!

Tiffany, First I love that you are sharing about Leather Britches... quick tip I used.. somewhere years ago I saw a lady string beans for Leather Britches but she used a little white button on the end of the string/or line to keep the line from coming thru the beans. I tried it and it works.. Just sharing.. Excited to see how your's turns out. my family would cook a batch when the weather called for the first snowflakes of the season.. so yummy

Leather britches are my favorite way to eat beans. We make them with white hull beans. Yum!!
Hey Tiff,I don't remember my Mom ever doing leather britches but i'm thinking a couple of my Aunt's did,I do remember Mom and I being at an Aunt's all day and her and Mom would schuck beans,corn,etc.Wyatt sure is a sweet boy!🌽🍅🫑

How do you get them to not light back up?? I love bags/purses that have some good pockets and multiple areas! Love that it has a wallet on the outside, that's cool !
That was my concern too lol. They eventually went out and stayed out but I had a cup of water nearby to put them in. :)

Happy Birthday 🎂 Just the simple box cakes are the best lol now I do love the fancy one my daughter got us for our anniversary but don’t like spending that much lol I splurged on our pop this week. Got a 12 pk of A&w zero root beer and a 12 pk cherry Coke Zero.
I used to bake and decorate special occasion cakes so I've had to teach myself that sometimes it's just best to step back and let the kids bake and decorate a boxed cake. I love baking and decorating but I love watching them enjoy it even more. :)
