      Bala Sharks tend to slow down at night because they are less active during darker periods. It’s a natural behavior for them to rest as the tank environment calms down. Ensure that they have a proper day-night cycle with enough darkness to simulate nighttime for them. If you notice excessive lethargy, check water parameters to ensure everything is balanced.

      Iridescent sharks generally come in a few color variations. The most common is the standard silver/gray with a reflective shine. There's also an albino variation, which is a paler, white version with pinkish or reddish eyes. But in terms of other color variations, that's pretty much it for Iridescent sharks.

      Hey! The Albino Rainbow Shark itself has a distinct color variation, with its pale body and red fins. However, the non-albino Rainbow Shark comes in the typical dark grayish-black with red fins. So in terms of 'albino' specific colors, it’s usually the white or pale body with reddish-orange fins.

      Yes, Mbuna Golden Cichlids can go with Johanni Cichlids (electric blues) as they are both from the same Mbuna group and share similar temperaments and water requirements. However, since they are both territorial, make sure you have plenty of rocks and hiding spots in the tank to minimize aggression. Keep an eye on their behavior to ensure compatibility.

    • @AquaWorldInfo
      @AquaWorldInfo 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I understand your concerns. GloFish, including the Starfire Red Tiger Barb, are a result of genetic modification for vibrant colors. While opinions on the ethics of this vary, it's important to note that these fish are bred in a way that doesn’t harm them, and they still live healthy, full lives. It’s always good to be informed about where the fish come from and choose what aligns with your values.

    In my experience silver tipped tetra males are aggressive during breeding and will fin nip and body slam other fish. I recommend with barbs and other fast, equally aggressive, short finned, fast and sturdy fish or as a species only. They are not friendly companions!

      @AquaWorldInfo 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That's a valuable insight! Silver Tip Tetras can indeed display aggression, especially during breeding. Keeping them with barbs and other active fish is a smart choice, as it helps balance their behavior. Many aquarists find they thrive better in species-only tanks or with similarly energetic companions. Thanks for sharing your experience!

      Identifying the sex of Black Ghost Knifefish can be tricky since there are no obvious physical differences between males and females. Unfortunately, many shops may not be able to sex them accurately. If you're looking to keep a pair, your best bet might be to observe behavior over time. Males can be more aggressive with each other, as you mentioned. Have you already got one, or still deciding?

      It can be tricky when stores aren't sure about the sex of Black Ghost Knifefish. If you're looking to get a pair, you might just have to observe their behavior over time. Sometimes, even experienced storekeepers can't tell right away. Just keep a close eye when you get them, and you should start seeing behavioral cues if you have a male and female.

      Red Tail Sharks can be quite shy, especially in community tanks, so it’s common not to see them much during the day. They do tend to be more active in the evening or at night, which might explain why you rarely catch it eating. As long as it's healthy and you see that red tail waving, it seems to be doing just fine!

      @AquaWorldInfo 14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Having 8 Silver Tip Tetras in an 80L tank can lead to that kind of behavior, especially if they don’t have enough space. African Cichlids, especially the Blue Dolphin Cichlid, really do have stunning colors! 🌊 Their unique appearance makes them stand out in any tank. Do you have any other African Cichlids?

      Flame Dwarf Gouramis do share some similarities with Bluegill in terms of shape and habitat preferences, but their colors and temperament are quite different. Dwarf Gouramis are known for their vibrant reds and blues.

      Sorry to hear about the mix-up! Gold Gouramis can grow much larger than Honey Gouramis, reaching up to 6 inches. If you have the space, they can be a rewarding species to keep. Otherwise, you might want to consider rehoming it.

    What do the glowing fish eat

    • @AquaWorldInfo
      @AquaWorldInfo หลายเดือนก่อน

      GloFish eat the same food as their non-glowing counterparts. You can feed them high-quality flake food, pellets, and occasionally treat them with brine shrimp or bloodworms. There are also special GloFish-specific foods available that enhance their colors. What type of GloFish do you have?

      🖤 It's interesting how some Black Ghost Knife Fish adapt to be more active during the day, especially when there's food involved. It must be fun watching him interact with the angelfish. How long have you had him?

    I wonder what the offspring will look like if you cross the pearl angelfish with an glofish angelfish.

    • @AquaWorldInfo
      @AquaWorldInfo 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s an interesting thought! Crossing a Pearlscale Angelfish with a GloFish Angelfish would likely result in offspring with a mix of the Pearlscale’s unique texture and the GloFish’s vibrant colors. However, since GloFish are genetically modified, the results can be unpredictable, and ethical considerations come into play. Have you done any crossbreeding experiments before?

    • @roberthemedes1064
      @roberthemedes1064 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@AquaWorldInfo I am not at the skill level of successfully crossbreeding angelfish yet. However, I think within 2 years or so from now, once these glofish angelfish come to breeding age, we will start seeing the results of crossbreeding experiments and within 4 to 5 years form now, there will be several eye catching offspring from all these experiments.

    If you tried searching information on the BROWN ghost Knifefish they will mostly give you information on the BLACK ghost Knifefish, and the true size of brown ghost knifefish is 26.9cm TL not 30"

    • @AquaWorldInfo
      @AquaWorldInfo 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You're absolutely right! Information on the Brown Ghost Knifefish can be hard to find, and it's often confused with the Black Ghost Knifefish. Thanks for pointing out the correct size-26.9 cm TL is more accurate. Have you had experience keeping the Brown Ghost Knifefish?
