Hello, your problem my friend, is not your cpu but your GPU, I can't believe that people still haven't understood that AMD GPUs for VR are bullshit. Get a 4090 and you'll see the difference right away. I was like you before, I have a 7900xt and an XTX and I ended up getting Nvidia, there's no question if you want to do VR in acceptable conditions.

Glad I saw this vid 👍I have a AMD Ryzensets 9 7900X Processor, and was running (2x16GB) CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR5 RAM 32GB @ 6000MHz. It worked great, until I added (2x16GB) more of the same Ram. I got the blue screen etc. but then noticed the processor was listed at DDR5 5200 (Max.). Can it still be clocked up to 6000MHz using your method? At the moment I have lowered the speed to 5200MHz and it works fine.

Lord I would be 🤮 all over the place at those frame rates. How does that not make you sick? If my vr does not hit 90 I can get vr sick

i appreciate your video from a content standpoint and everyone has a unique opinion. but 3:27 are you for real? do you think that paying 80 - 220 bucks - which is a rather steep asking price even for a feature complete, bug free, AAA gaming experience, throroughly tested and quality controlled - was in some way justified??? none of the above aspects were met, not on launchday nor now. And i bet you in three months from now it won't have changed much either. why should i pay full price for a bug ridden, unoptimized desaster where assets "beam" into existence on the airport? because they will fix it some time later? where on earth does business work like that? but i'm salty. i forgot that i can enjoy the full remaining 6 years of the promised 10 years of msfs2020 support, can't i? yeah, i'm just wondering why there's a new sim out now, when the outgoing one will be supported for this long..... could it be that... it WONT in fact be supported because... 2024 is the same program but with prettier clouds and sh*ttier streaming? building up the hype with juicy videos while in the background they haven't even implemented a marketplace. audacious, malicious and despicable business practices. you seem to think it's not a big deal, apparently. why?

This is one of those games that you either have to play with awful low resolution or insanely low framerate if you choose to play vr

Couple questions 1) How are you able to get just the single screen record, no matter how many times I tell steam VR to only display 1 screen it always shows both screens and cant seam to get it to sort itself out. Only seams to happen with MSFS2020 and MSFS2024 as Ive got other VR games to only show 1 screen. 2) What is the program you are using to show all the data in the corner, that would be really helpful to see how many changes are actually affecting the sim vs my bias opinion on if it "feels" better 3) You mentioned about shimmer with the Quest 3 and having it setup wrong. Im using the Quest 3 so any suggestions, or if you have other videos mentioning it, on settings would be great to have.

I've got all those upgrades and they are not optional. It does fit great with accessories. Without, it's everything you described and terrible compared to the HP G2.

Great Video, Thanks. I would love it if you went through the screens showing actual settings you applied (in this vid they are to fuzzy to make out) because I just do not seem to be getting decent sharp graphics with my Ryzen 9 7950X3D, 7900xtx and Pimax Crystal Light.

Use the upscale setting in pimax play software and watch your performance increase

QC is the only reason I haven't gotten a Cristal light yet. I was expecting most of the issues to be fixed by now. Unfortunately, it's only gotten worse. I'm not spending $800 on a VR HS that takes months to get a replacement for an HS that should have never been sent to a customer anyway. And now we see more and more customers with issues Pimax can't or won't fix.

I dont know if you've tested both but how does this one compare to the GTRacer? GTRacer is within my budget but since this one came out, I'm wondering if the extra cost is worth it. Hopefully you shall see this comment and ease my worries :)

Thanks for the video! Sadly I need a foldable rig as I don't have space (using the Playseat Challenge at the moment, which is good but I cannot adjust the wheelbase height). This rig would be perfect for me if the wheelbase white "pillars" could be folded onto the pedals or something like that. If it was foldable I could just fold the seat, fold the steering support and then have it vertical and stored somewhere.

What I would like to know is if by not liking the chair it can be switched for another model?

i have limited space in my room but really like this cockpit, would it be possible to partially disassemble it each time i want to put it away or would that cause the bolts to wear on the metal of the cockpit to much?

I've seen many helpful videos on getting everything set up; however, yours is by far the BEST as it is more in-depth as, for my case, held the key to the most important lock, so to speak....information about SteamVR. Of course, because of age of video and the updates of Steam, once I went through the steps downloading (and yes, some confusing frustration along the way), I was able to go from 11fps to a whoping 43fps!!! "No more low-powered robotic head movements" as one friend described. Thank you! Take care and have a great day.

8:00 No, it's just Crystal issue due to aspheric lenses. They have smaller sweet spot than pancakes.
