7:19 also, I’m a focus puller/1st AC. It sounds small but you’re actually in charge of the entire technical side of the camera department and everyone else (2nd AC, Camera PA, DIT, VTR, Camera Utility) report to the 1st AC. They DO pull focus, which is very hard in certain scenarios, but they do a lot more. Just to throw it out there cause it’s a very common misconception! Lol

As an industry 1st AC (role used interchangeably with Focus Puller), I can’t imagine getting away with vlogging my experience on set legally, as I’ve done stuff for Netflix, Showtime and many big TH-cam channels and wouldn’t dare. I’m assuming they had pretty loose ruling. This is cool to see!

Honestly, the earlier designs aren't even that cursed. Some of them are even kind of cute. But at the same time, I'm glad they pushed that design far enough that it became hideous so that they had to retract it and replace it with the current, MUCH better one lol

there have been cases of a studio securing the rights to make a movie for a franchise, announcing that upcoming movie, then they just fail to get the ball rolling for multiple years because they can't settle on a good enough script. people speculate that's probably what happened with the Borderlands movie; filming can't really start until you've settled on a (more or less) finished script. there's a good chance that "The Sony Sonic Movie" is something that only ever really existed in the form of rejected pitches
