Great information! Thanks!!
Where did you get the tealight containers and wicks for them?
nice idea - may u tell me what size this clear boxes are?
How do you keep the scents from 'mixing' in the box (as in it all smells like the strongest scent in the box)? I really like this idea, but I'm hesitant just because of the scent 'crossover' (can't think of a better term. Thought about wrapping each one but the labor...ouch...thanks for sharing! Enjoying watching your channel!
@@essentialsnorthwestllc878 thanks for watching!! The scents at a surface level can crossover some, but once you light a tealight you’re only smelling that particular scent. I was worried about that too, but it doesn’t seem to be a problem. I personally love to smell the boxes. It’s such a great mix of scents!
@@roundtowncandleco8579Thanks! Too late for this season, but I started pouring some a while back thinking I need to do 'something' with all these tea lights I've bought...but never really came up with anything. Appreciate the idea!
Great idea 💡

It sure does

@@erinhowell8537 they’re from Norden Candle Supply, and YES you need them!! Absolutely the best purchase for those bigger jars. I still use the good ol’ clothespins for my smaller jars. 🤣
Cute jars!
Thank you! I love them. 😍
Thanks for sharing Jessica! I use the same method however I keep my larger pitcher on a hot plate to keep the wax hot before pouring. I agree with your method for the posh jars I also use the design in the cut glass as my pour line. Looking forward to your next video!
Thank you for watching! I wish all jars were as easy as the posh, but this method definitely works. I haven’t noticed any variations in the tops, so I don’t think the wax cools so much that it causes problems. I’m sure a hot plate wouldn’t be a bad idea though.
How do you keep the pouring temperature even when the big pot isn’t on the heat? Thx, I love your channel, you are super cute!!❤
@@StephanieFields-v5k first of all, you are the absolute sweetest! Thank you! ❤️ I use 464 so the pouring temp is between 135-140. I usually start pouring around 140, and whatever temperature is lost from start to finish isn’t enough to change the look of the wax.
Have you found generally the CD 8 is a good place to start testing with this jar?
@@hilaryquinn8673 I tested CD 6 and CD 8 with this jar. Of course different waxes and fragrance loads will change the performace, but for my combination that was a good starting point.

Good morning! I ordered a few fragrance oils from Aztec candle, do you feel like their scents are too soft?
@@s.borgess7138 there have definitely been some that I’ve tried and have not been impressed with, but there are others that are fantastic. I think it comes down to personal preference. I’ve ordered from several different companies and it seems like no matter the company, there’ll be some I’m crazy about and some I couldn’t care less about. You’ll have to let me know what you think once you get your order. 😊
@ good morning! I guess all the scents I ordered were very soft for candle making. I tried a few fragrances on wax melts. The smell were very pleasant, but just too soft. They’ll be amazing for soap making. Thank you for your feedback.

YOU SEEM FRIED! Your poor brain/body! Um, I think you may need some help with organization and efficiency. FOCUS. INHALE. There is no need whatsoever for your space to look like this. I believe it just adds to the "pressure" and "panic" of trying to get your candles ready for launch. You may even be a procrastinator? I'm not sure why you are even putting yourself in this position to be ready to launch before you are ready. I wish you all the best, but look at yourself and take ownership for what you are adding to your stress levels. On top of that, businesses all seem to drop in AN ELECTION YEAR. So go easy on yourself, know that you are special and allow yourself some breathing room.
@@stevechappellie904 thanks for watching! I totally agree with you that my space shouldn’t look like it does in the video. My business took off a lot faster than I anticipated, and I clearly wasn’t prepared. Thankfully, I’m planning on moving the candle studio soon, and of course that will be another video. As hard as it is to face some of these challenges, it’s going to make for a great look-back one of these days. I definitely see myself and take ownership which was the entire purpose of the video. I think most, if not all, small businesses deal with some level of stress, disorganization, etc. It’s part of the learning process and a sign of growth. I’m grateful for the temporary stress, late nights, and messy room I had to deal with because my launch was amazing!! (Side note: definitely not a procrastinator 😉)

when you said you only add in the newest items to apply the discount and the code does not change..I wonder when you added her specific candle if that is where the problem is (maybe a button that says default to this item being the free item in the cart got selected, etc). I would do a fake order with her specific items in the cart (because maybe its the other two that is the problem-maybe something got selected that says do not apply discount to this item so its defaulting to more expensive one!) and see if that triggers the difference.
@@rastascoob thanks for the input. I did a mock order and it was perfect for me. Even Shopify said it was working on their end, and they couldn’t find any issues with the discount. I guess it was a random glitch. Thankfully I haven’t had any trouble since. Fingers crossed!!
