TIPS FOR CHECKRIDE: 1: Take a deep breath. Your examiner is a human too, and they also had to go through a checkride just like you! You'll find after your checkride that it wasn't nearly as bad or intimidating as you thought it would be. I promise, very few people were more nervous than I was for my checkride, so you're not alone in feeling that way. If I can do it, you can too! 2: Don't dig a ...

Man you’re at 16k subs that is not nothing to big man that’s a awesome feat hope to see you come back with the wing!
@@itspaysenfpv5634 Thanks man!! That’s absolutely the plan. I’ve missed making videos
@ awesome to hear! I plan on starting my fixed wing flight training this summer
Here because of your beautiful win on Tuckers channel .. Way to go buddy!
@@OneOfTheRobs thank you for the support man!! Appreciate you coming over!
I had left one comment already but forgot to mention, I swear You looked very familiar toy me. I'm guessing I must have watched a video or two of yours previously. Who knows?
Hello Ethan, I am here from Tucker Gott's channel. I will be subscribing and looking forward to your posting with your Paramotoring content. BE SAFE!!! Maybe a little training can be your first content.
this is the sign to start the channel again. coming from Tuker.
@@In7heaven Absolutely! That’s the plan. So excited to be back, it’s been way too long coming!
Ok Ethan I’m here after watching you win Tuckers giveaway, I’m so happy and excited for you. I was smiling the whole video. You definitely deserve it, I was a bit jealous of the whole experience you received. But I’m happy that it happened to you. You are the perfect person for it. I can’t wait to see you start making Paramotor videos.
@@butchdavis2703 Thank you sir! They are coming soon:)
@@TakingFlightWithEthansame! Came right after seeing you winning the paramotor which I’m suuuper jealous of
Over Unity Jet Engines You’ll… thoughts?
what are the differences between your cessna and a seaplane?
"Very bright light" is being a bit generous with the lumens. Most airports around here you gotta be pretty close to pick out those beacon lights. And distinguishing between green and white is challenging, mostly just look for a flashing white light in the distance surrounded by runway lights (if they're on) or a big black hole when they're off.
100/10
ATP worked out great for me. I realize it’s hit or miss. I got my private at a mom and pop in 2019, then did everything else at ATP and graduated February of 2021. I instructed for them for three years and have now just finished up my first year at Frontier. You can’t control everything but what you can control is being on time, prepared, professional, dedicated, not party while at ATP, and just basically have no life while you’re going through the process. If you and your instructor are a bad match, advocate for yourself and respectfully ask for a new one. Most importantly, don’t give up! You will hit bumps in the road, just go with the flow and learn from failures without becoming discouraged. I started this entire process at age 33 so the fast track thing worked well for me but if you’re young, take your time and enjoy the ride. ATP is a serious commitment and if you can’t hack it or you aren’t giving 120% they will can you and you’ll be out. “Failure isn’t an option” was my mindset going through it. Best of luck to anyone reading this.
Who gives a ratzass ? I'm more interested in knowing when I'm going to get my little bag of pretzels from lardo Karen the flight attendant !
Who measures jet engines in horsepower
Whose here after south korea belly land 😢sunday 30th 2024
Now consider GE's 7ha.03 power generation turbine with over 570,000 horsepower.
What rudders are those?
I'm sure having this level of preparedness and organization got you a lot of bonus points. This would make a good impression on an examiner, which would make him/her comfortable being somewhat lenient on minor things you might have gotten wrong. If you're sloppy and disorganized, it gives the examiner reason to be really strict and perhaps more detailed in his/her acceptance of "close" answers.
@@johnburgess2084 absolutely did! Never heard of an examiner not being a fan of being overprepared
planes can land with autopilot, but only at airports with a certified and calibrated ILS.
Thank you so much for the "welcome aboard" handout! That looks really amazing and I hope I can impress my instructor with it.
Theres no way this guy was able to qualify at 18 years old ? Zero
@@mikeb9801 lol why?
@TakingFlightWithEthan i dont think Sallie Mae would lend you $100,000 without a co-signer. If they did then more power to you. But will you answer if they did or not
@ They did. I’ve been building credit with an authorized user since I was 11, so I had excellent credit when applying. I’ve also been working since I was 15 so I had income as well
@@TakingFlightWithEthan congratulations on achieving your dream
That’s a very useful video. Thank you so much. 🎉
Thank you for the helpful information here on this channel. I have one question if you can answer that for me. Which headset should I buy for my flight training? Will I be missing out on a massive difference if I go for a hybrid noise reduction headset (DC H10 13.4) instead of an active noise reduction (lightspeed sierra) headset? Which one did you use specifically and hows your experience?
You at a regional now?
Guys... Which country is good for pilot training? M poor so consider that too😭
wwait the F135 engine from pratt and whitney in the F-35 produces 40.000 pounds of thrust so an engine with full afterburner produces less thrust then a 777 engine
And that's just per engine imagine what the strength of 4 engines produce!!!
which exams exactly should i have done?
Great video, thanks bro.
I learn best by watching videos and listening to explanations rather than reading. Does anyone have a cost effective way to get some videos that can supplement my shepard air study?
Did you go to college?
Many cars have way less than 180 horsepower too. An l1011 has 3 rb211-524 engines which are 60,000 lbft each. Its engines are even what became the modern Trent. It makes everything look cute
Bro can i make a little electrical airplane engine and make a tiny airplane actually fly?
ATP is a rip off! Avoid at all costs!
The fact that the thrust from one of the engines is enough to blow away a sedan is shocking
How many times does it spin in 1 second
What is ATA 26
So double the 777 engine will be 60000 HP
I will never be a pilot but I learnt something new today, this may help me in a zombi apocalypse
Wrong a high bypass engine specially a 320 neo has a power of 45 k hp to 55 hp in each engine .it has to be ..
Im assuming this helps with turbulence ?
Pushed out maybe ??😮
How do you know not to hit another plane ? Obviously dont fly into it , but its like how do ya know ??
Awe i love you for this !
Awesome ❤
they have more ways to toss you out and keep your money than keep you in. Better schools out there.
Can you spread your words a bit further apart guy
How can a engine blow a car away but cars are more than 1000kg
Do you have to memorize everything, or did you have that binder with ya during the Check-ride and read to him from the binder?
Now how much HP in an f18?
That binder is nearly as organized as your hair follicles 🧐
