มุมมอง 17729 วันที่ผ่านมา
In this video Tim and Dave show just how easy it is to install the front clip on the Outlaw Speedster body swap restomod kit car . Based on an MGF platform (or the Toyota MR2 SW30 if you’re in the United States or anywhere else for that matter), the Dirty Dog Outlaw team have gone over and above to make building and owning your own Porsche 356 inspired classically designed car a reality.

In this video Tim explains the difference between buying the usual Speedster kit car. When it comes to a Dirty Dog Outlaws Outlaw Speedster body swap restomod kit car, you can get everything you need to build your ultimate open top cruiser for a fraction of the price of some of the longer established kit car builders around the world. The Outlaw Speedster is something different. Get involved. B...
Rear clip Installation: Outlaw Speedster body swap restomod kit car

Most kit car builds can be a stressful experience. Not the Outlaw Speedster body swap restomod kit car. Watch how Tim and Dave fit the rear clip to the MGF donor car. Getting rid of heat is very important for mid-engined cars and the team have gone over and above the donor car’s vents.

So many body swap restomod kit cars require the purchase of a fabric hood. Not with the Outlaw Speedster. You’ll be using the original hood from the donor MGF or MR2. Just a few mods here and there and with everything we supply IN THE KIT, you’ll be enjoying top down driving in no time. The original Porsche 356 came air cooled of course. Both the MGF and MR2 are watercooled so to protect the ra...

Tim explains where the passion for classic cars and Porsches in particular comes from. Big brothers have a lot to answer for. That’s where the passion started. Tim really wants his body swap restomod kit cars to be accessible to everyone. Something that can be built over four or five weekends and is ready for paint was Tim’s aim and that’s what’s been done time and time again with owners around...

It’s cut cut cut time at Dirty Dog Outlaws. The rear end of the MGF donor car takes a bit of remodelling but it’s all easy stuff when your end goad is a body swap restomod kit car. If you’re not familiar with welding, you’ll need to employ someone for maybe a day. It starts with cutting the rear three quarters, cutting the inner guards off and why is it done, to add fat rubber of course.

Do you have something in the kit to keep water out of the head lights that would be thrown up from the front wheels. All glass front guards that are made for VW's (the same head light) have a bucket glassed to the opening.Keeps the head light dry.

It’s frigging beautiful mate, just need the $$$$$ to make it happen
Dave sent me. I'm wondering if this kit could be done along with a k20 swap.

Dave sent me. That "Italian-inspired" concept looks absolutely gorgeous! I'd love to build one in New Zealand. Basing it on a Subaru BRZ or Toyota 86 sounds like the duck's nuts.

Great use of existing donor car parts, and easy to modify to fit. Brilliant. By the way, Dave sent me.
I'm originally from around your neck of the woods but didn't know of you. But, Dave sent me, and even though we're travelling through Europe for a while we really enjoy seeing what a bloke from the Island is getting up to. Keep up the great work!
Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful. And guess who sent me? Dave sent me ❤
Who sent me? Dave sent me😊 Beautiful car. Looking at the front cowl for the radiator, we could adhere some automotive/marine carpet to that which would soften the boot space
Guess who sent me! Dave sent me😊

You guys at OUTLAWS are amazing, but when can we see an E-Type version.?
Dave Sent Me. About 20 years ago I started building a Lotus 7 replica. As I went along I realised how hard it was going to be to get it registered as an “Individually Constructed Vehicle” in NSW. As time went on it seemed to be getting harder and harder to actually comply with the regulations. I ended up selling the chassis and a pile of other parts and bought an MX5 :-) Building something like this which is based on a production car would have to be easier to register without the hassles of emission complience and brake tests!
