I liked follow recoil for spraying but sadly when I used it I tried to spray too much and I hated it for tapping/bursting. Started forming bad habits so I went back to off

I've played CS since I was 8 y/o, now I'm almost 32. Been through 1.5 all the way to Source, kind of skipped CS GO and now came back for CS2. I cannot imagine a more convinient setting than follow crosshair. F*** those who think is for noobs or whatnot.

I feel like this video is miss leading because you definitely still have to follow a sort of recoil pattern. Like for example with the Negv you still have to put the cross hair at their feet but I’m sure follow recoil is still better

im staying somewhat in the middle of the two. 16:10 all the way the elige res 1680x1050ftw. for me 1920 never felt smooth might be placebo and i cannot stand 4:3 after being off it for some years

Also R8 can wall its not a pocket awp but a pocket scout is great.

I play with 2000dpi and 1.2 sens for 2500 hours. I can’t change it to lower but I want to. High sens sucks. It’s random and and hard to headshot

2560x1440 and 1920x1440 is best res, 1440p monitors are underrated and I hope pros and more people move to them because 1440p looks so much cleaner then 1080p even in games like cs, also it wont make much difference of a diffrence to fps since pros play on low and competitive games are CPU bound anyway, if you have a semi modern GPU its really not that big of a loss if at all but its a huge visual diffrence.

Honestly follow recoil just makes more sense crazy how it wasnt in the game at the start the whole point of a cross hair is to put it on ur target and keep it there

At long range , R8 beats the deagle 9/10 times And even if you cant get a kill it deals more heavy damage than deagle to enemies in single hit its basically a pocket Scout in eco rounds

1:52 This is a misleading statistic. For most weapons the equation for inaccuracy while standing is Spread + InaccuracyStand. The spread value alone is more or less meaningless. You should be reading the Standing Inaccuracy column on the first page of the spreadsheet when trying to gauge how accurate a weapon is. Additionally, the r8's inaccuracy cannot be calculated in the usual way because of the delay mechanic. This makes the spread value even more misleading. The true standing first shot inaccuracy for the r8 is 8.23, which is worse than the deagle's 6.2. This puts the r8 between the glock and the dualies. However, when crouching, the r8's inaccuracy is only 3.47 which puts it in line with the aug's 3.41 while scoped. This beats the deagle at 4.18. When running, the inaccuracy is 14.73 which is second only to the tec 9 at 10.71. This is probably why your running r8 strategy is so effective. One last quirk of the r8 in the right click firing is caused by line 424 of this leaked source code for csgo: github.com/perilouswithadollarsign/cstrike15_src/blob/master/game/shared/cstrike15/fx_cs_shared.cpp This line biases the bullets towards the edges of the spread circle. It makes the right click r8 is worse than other guns when firing with that much inaccuracy. But thanks for pointing out the running inaccuracy of the r8. I will definitely be trying it again!

Or aim at head level 1 press left click with deagle most of the maps are not long meaning accuracy wont come in play

Idk about you but my friend uses a similar viewmodel and when he shoots the deagle the recoil animation ends up covering his crosshair, which is just unplayable to me. Not to mention reload animations covering the crosshair too. I get why people do it, I mean I do it in TF2 myself using min_viewmodel, but to me in CS it's just not good.
