    YOu can see Loni Anderson turning away at Les's description to keep from laughing in the camera. The episode was THAT funny...I was watching it with my parents and we couldn't stop laughing. What a great show that was! It's actually funnier when Les is describing the action over the air about the turkeys hitting the ground like wet cement, and then it cuts to him doing a Hindenburg disaster rendition riff. "Oh, the humanity!"

    Wild turkeys can fly, down hill & short distances. This was funny the day I watched it, but it Did Not “save the show” either you were a fan and watched the show or you missed this episode and were not able to see it again,

    I swear to God that's the most unfunny recreation of the Hindenburg disaster I have ever seen. Zero funny. Zero laughter. The canned chortling makes it even worse. How did this turd ever make it past one episode?

    Does anyone remember versions of this song that featured the names of high schools in a particular city? The one I heard was in Chicago but I think radio stations in other cities did this as well.

    • @debdo1960
      @debdo1960 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think you're right cuz I also heard WCFL (another Chicago radio station) dubbed in on this song. It was a popular song, so guessing other stations nationwide. However, I don't remember a school being dubbed in....but it's a possibility.

    The Decades network was airing WKRP every night at 12:30 AM Eastern through the end of 2022, which I enjoyed watching most nights. Then for '23 they replaced it with... the Bob Newhart Show (BOOOOO) I'll have to get the WKRP DVD set released in 2014 so I can keep watching it instead!

    In the 1960's the gentlemen's debate was Ginger or Mary Ann from Gilligan's Island, then 15 years later it was Jennifer or Bailey on WKRP, then 20 more years later it was Jackie or Donna on That 70's Show.
