We don't. We put the cat shelters under the deck and the food remained on the deck for some possums that would stop by.

Unfortunately, I think it would simply fill up with water and make the problem worse if it were placed on the inside. I don't know if you have two doors like I do but if you do you could place the dam on the door with the leaking problem and use the other door. Simply leave the door with the dam alone and don't use it. If you don't have two doors I can't think of a way to make a dam work in your situation. I hope you are able to figure something out. I know how frustrating this is.

I haven't personally used J-B Weld Multi-Purpose Putty but I have seen a couple of reviews that say it is similar to, and works as well as, Bondo All-purpose Putty. The J-B Weld Multi-Purpose Putty doesn't say it can be used on plastic but I saw an Amazon review where the guy said he used it to repair his vinyl siding. That's a great idea and I believe it would work. You would need be be careful not to get too much fuel in there and flood it but I bet your idea would work.

Hi, Bruce. You will need a small piece of your vinyl siding. I had a piece left from the original installation. Take the piece of vinyl to your local Home Depot's paint department. Have them scan it and make you a small sample jar of flat custom colored outdoor paint. They did an excellent job on my color match. Be sure to get their flat finish paint.

@@Al13n1nV8D3R I think you will be ok. Most of their holsters work fine. I LOVE mine. Even with the flaw it works great now that I fixed it. This holster is so comfortable once you break it in. I actually forget I have it on most of the time. I wear it several times per week, and it is a great holster.
