I'm obviously not glad that these guys, or anyone, had to do shitty fucking jobs... but there's something heartwarming about the shared experience of "oh I did this shit job and bought a ps2 with the money". For me, I worked at a Poundland (UK dollar store chain). I also worked in a Dixons and got talked down to a lot bc I was a 19 year old girl with bleached blonde hair - including one old man who had to apologise to me because he told me I couldn't add up the receipt correctly lmao

this might be the result of a type of synesthesia that I have where you associate certains shapes/colors/numbers/letters with each other, like in my mind circles are a blue shape, regardless of how it's colored. 9 is a purple or dark blue number. I don't think I've associated shapes and letters, but I've independently related both of them to colors, but what's so odd is that it's JUST the square button in this case
