something that you miss, the wine!
No I had a lot of wine too :)
It might not look like an island anymore due to the amount of buildings on the side of the bridge. I'm not sure if they created a barrier under the bridge creating two separated bodies of water or not but, if so, it's now become a peninsula, indeed. It might not be so obvious anymore but on its natural landscape, the island, is really an island. I've left my country a long time ago and never questioned people if the island has artificially become now a peninsula due to all the manmade constructions.
Thanks for the information. They really made it a peninsula bud now l understand why they still call it an island
welcome !
Thanks

And several of the present buildings are also being lately built on new islands in the water of the former harbor.
Looked very modern and beautiful
The Copenhagen Harbor is now clean enough to be used as a Bath, with many positions intended for this, after many years as a Commercial Harbor. This function has moved to the north of town to new Industrial Districts. The first part in the former "Meat Packing District" is still with Industrial Building, now being used for other purposes, as Restaurants and Exhibitions.
Thanks for all the information. Will go swimming next time.
@@frankiegoestonollywood1671 I tried to look for the statue with the four men/pigs, but I haven't found it, sadly. Finn
Not sure exactly where it is. I walked past the Tivoli park and then the Vester Volgade to the water. Maybe that helps
@@finncarlbomholtsrensen1188 At Dantes Plads, across the street from the Glyptotek.
@@klausolekristiansen2960 Thank You. I have often found a P place for my car over there, during visits, in the good old days. I have several times named to Glyptoteket, that their Bust of Philip II is wrong, as he had a from birth deformed face and later had lost an eye from an arrow in the brow, during a siege! And during a Lecture from the Excavators of his tomb in Macedonia, they had brought what is named to be the only bust (which they have and own in Glyptoteket), and why they had come, and it looked much different, though made a little nicer than than Philips factual face, which they also had brought as a "reconstructed face" based on his actual skull. Sunny weather during Polish Winter is blessing from God. Rare stuff.
Yes that’s why l walked around all day. Thanks for watching
🇱🇹♥️🇺🇦 Thanks, very beautiful snowtown Vilnius ❗ 👍❄️❄️❄️
Yes beautiful city. Like to go back and visit in summer too. Thanks for watching

The "UFO" was a water tower used to create pressure on the water in the pipes. And the red color used on Swedish houses was easily made with inexpensive ingredients at home. The round house near the end is, to my knowledge a Train Control Center?
Thanks for the information. I loved the view and now l know what l saw. Thanks for watching.
Where are you from, buddy? According to your accent🙂, probably from UK, Australia or Ireland. Am I right?
I lived in a lot of countries. Originally from the Netherlands. Thanks for watching
@@frankiegoestonollywood1671 Oh, interesting. I know, that the Dutch people is one of the most traveled nation, and love to explore. I am from Russia.
That’s correct. We travel a lot. Still have to visit your country too.
Which bus company did you take? I am trying to decide the bus company for my trip in May. I have a cruise to catch later on that day .
🥰👍
Thank you
1:04 I can see nothing there that says the train is going to Vilnius.
Yes l was looking for that too first. It says Mockava a smal station just across the border into Lithuania and there you get a connection to Vilnius.
Hi man.. how to book this ticket online? What was the train timing?
Hello. I bought the ticket at the station. If l remember correctly trains run Monday, Wednesday and Friday leaving around 6 pm
Thank you so much 😊...
This wonderful city has a great Polish heritage, before WWII some 70 % of its population was Polish, now some 20 %. For example the Three Crosses Monument was built by Antoni Wiwulski (he also designed the Grunwaldzki Monument in Kraków) in 1916. He died in early 1919 defending Wilno/Vilnius against the Russians.
Thanks for the information and thanks for watching
Because Poland were occupying Vilnius from 1920 until 1939
Polish were occupiers and quite brutal. Poland never apologized
Vivulskis Antanas (Antoni Wiwulski, 1877-1919), His parents, samagotian nobles, were exiled to the depths of Russia after 1863. rebellion.
