I wish I never sold mine 😢

Awesome all round big Adventure bike thats capable off road and on plus proven reliability and longevity. I put 16,000Km on mine so far, only downside its tall and heavy so not for vertically challenged riders.

This is the review i was looking for without knowing i was looking for it.

I’ll be sure to sub. getting a 1090 in a few days fits good for sure 6’2” 250# stock seat may have to go kept me a bit forward, easy fix though.

In my opinion, this bike is great for beginners but it must be kept in Rain Mode for a few months! Also, anyone who has left foot or hand issues, this bike is perfect and would allow them to begin or continue the joy of motorcycling. Cool vibes. ✌️😎

I’m sure by now you know that the automatic (DCT) transmission can be overridden by hitting the - downshift button or + up shift button as you prefer. The DCT is programmed to up shift quickly to conserve fuel. In Sport Mode this thing is a Beast!!! Awesome video about my 2022 model. We have the same height and weight and I find the bike to be very comfortable with my Mustang Solo seat. I have done quite a few modifications to my bike and it is a head turner for sure. The turn signals are self canceling by distance. This bike looks like it might have a lowering kit on it also.... Oh and I give cosmetics a 7.5. Nice bike whomever it belongs to.

I feel the brakes are adequate, rears a bit soft ... my guess is that they are dialed back for offroad, otherwise dudes would be locking up their front ends.

I love my Navi. It's perfect for the around the city driving. It's suprisingly punchy from 0-30. What is most amazing is the number of compliments and questions I get. These may be popular elsewhere in the country. But I live in a county full of compensators. Big goofy loud bikes are life here. You just don't see minis like a Navi on the road at all. So much in fact that our local Honda Dealership, with 2025 models coming out, still have 2023 Navis. And so people are totally curious. And after they talk to me about it, they usually want one, LOL!

That little pocket, up front, is big enough for my disk lock BTW... and yes, I'm 6'-4'' 250 lbs and the bike is plenty strong. The only issue I have is the rear brake which is a little weak,to my taste. Good review.

I'm debating on buying a 890 adventure R and a 1090 adventure R. but i have yet to find a video of both bikes together.

Get the RC8 throttel ehandle ( I dont now if i translated that correclty its Gasgriff in german ) but it has a asymetrical cone tor the linkage witch results in better less agressive first half of the turn of the throttle . you could also get a retunre, the juttery, aggresive comes from the second throttle valve being setup up rather for racing ^^

Absolutely loved my 1090R. Great power, great suspension, good brakes, comfortable, etc. I traded mine in a few months ago for a Ducati DesertX. I didn't like the 890 Adventure R, but the DesertX hype was real. I do still slightly prefer my 1090R's modded engine and highway comfort though.

I do think a CVT transmission is easier to maintain than a chain. I'm torn between getting a minimoto or scooter. I know the Navi can be upgraded with a Malossi kit. I'm 5'10" with a 33" inseam and 165 lbs. I can flatfoot it easily. WTF is scraping on turns? Would removing the sidekick help? I think Piaggios and Vespas are sexy-Honda scooters are ugly, Some spend up to $2K to make the Navi a great bike-just get a Grom, Royal Enfiled or Monkey FFS!

I get boring but compliments on my speed on it and never a negative comment. I'm a bear on a motorcycle and that didn't bother me in the least. This is the first review ive seen with someone closer to my size. Its stacks up better than I thought. Ive been going back and forth between this and the cf moto 450ss since it has more power and better suspension for a heavier rider. So I dont know what to do 😂

I got one, very pleased for a starter bike, however, I bought a extra cushion seat cover for the seat , hurt my tailbone 👍🏽😀👍🏽

I have a 2011 ABS model as well, it's a great bike and does it all. Definitely not something for a fresh rider, it's got enogh grunt to spook you out quickly. I've had a 520EXC supermoto and a 690 Supermoto as well, love KTMs. Cheers!
