I'll consider it. What languages do you know? The app is all python - though to package it up there'd probably be some different front-end or back-end languages.

@CashBaggins I primarily use Javascript (NodeJS) but I'm familiar with most popular languages. I like what you have done so far and I was thinking about ways to try expanding on it such as using an opt-in central server for certain data (such as loot from golden chests, boss kills, etc...) If users decided to opt-in to storing data on a central server I would be able make that data available via a discord bot or via an API. I share your love of data but more specifically I enjoy aggregating data and making it easily accessible.

I have a bunch of code that supports my data collecting desires, the program I have up while gambling is something I wrote, and the file is named tracker.py. So, it's python code, and specifically it's a streamlit application, which is just a way to build simple web apps using python. There are other frameworks like flask, Django, or dash, which are more full stack frameworks; streamlit is the simple, more on-the-rails means of creating simple web apps in python. I've had number of questions about the gui I have up when I'm doing the gambling, so I'm thinking I'll go over the app in my next video since it's such an integral part of the data collection process. I have a good idea of how to go through it, but if there's any questions you have up front that you want the answer to, it might help me answer more people's questions when I make the video. Thanks for the feedback, by the way, I really appreciate the engagement and conversation. And don't worry, I have plenty more stats to come. :) pretty happy with some of the yet-to-be-seen charts.

It's an app I wrote that helps me record the data because I'm a giant dweeb. I have to click a lot on there to get everything recorded. Otherwise, collecting the data would be a massive pain. It's still slower than if it was automatic, but it does the job.

My code base for all my dark and darker stuff is a mess, but if there's enough interest I could clean it up and release it. Yeah I try to update them a lot of the time, but sometimes I get a little lazy. With this video being late, I skipped a lot of the subtitles. That part takes literal hours to fix so it's not always worth it. Do you like the subtitles?

@CashBaggins personally I did find them distracting. I liked the video overall. I think the subtitles would help in moments of high intensity like combat or to put emphasis on a word sentence. Thanks for asking :D you got my support!

It's an app I wrote that helps me record the data! For gambling, I click the item "pill", select the rarity, and click confirm gamble, then to make this listing, I select "gamblin'" listing type, type in the price, and select "make listing" these actions in the app make a record of all of my transactions. Sales are recorded by clicking "get sold listings" which updates the listing records for the selected character.
