The woman has the audacity to even ask for support from her ex when it became clear that the child actually belonged to her ex! But the question still remains why should he be taking up the responsibility when she was the one who wrecked the home by her irresponsible action along with the former boss of her ex! As a human being he would still take care of the child irrespective of the fact that she cheated on him with his former boss who turned out to be impotent but nevertheless the act cannot be washed away! My recommendation on the amazingly complicated relationship is to walk away at the first chance because later in life the matter is bound to be made known to the child when he/she grows up and would be subjected to a hell amount of unwanted attention mostly from being bullied which can take a significant toll on the child's mind!

It’s crazy that her character gaslit him into thinking he’s the problem when she clearly didn’t love him back. If she loved him she would have been there for him when he was feeling low. Or maybe her character is supposed to be unintelligent and is just a self loathing person and the male character in this situation due to his depression and thinks he deserves to be with a person who’s treats him that way. Because he would have known a long time ago to stop shooting in her raw if he knew he wasn’t getting treated this horribly in a relationships. No one wants that kinda person in their life they just end up with a person like that because deep down they are depressed and think they deserve to have that issue. And that hypothesis is proven when he doesn’t accept his brother’s remorse.
