Thank you so much for the footage! Whenever I look up rural Vietnam, ALL I can find is the rural areas in the North! And when I look up Southern Vietnam all I find is footage of Ho Chi Minh City or Can Tho, but never anything rural! I can't believe just how different the terrain in the South is!

A little bit of a misleading title. You’re a couple, it’s safer in pairs. I was with a female friend in parts of Colombia and had a lovely time. For the most part we were left alone, however we still did get uncomfortable a few times. The problem is that as soon as I was a solo female in Bogotá, I was targeted and misled constantly. Two days was enough to have me crying to get home. After the first day I just curled up in my hotel afraid to go outside. So sure, don’t be afraid to go to Colombia, but go with a friend or group, and keep your wits about you. Bogotá is a big city and perhaps I just got unlucky many times in a row, but it left a bitter taste at the end of an otherwise nice experience.

Nice ride in Colombia. If you want to get into bike packing you should get a rear rack and some saddle bags. Having the weight on your back in a backpack makes everything more difficult. It looks beautiful there. What an awesome adventure. Can't wait to see what's next.
