Erythropoiesis or How Our Body Makes Red Blood Cells
มุมมอง 998 หลายเดือนก่อน
Erythropoiesis is when your body makes red blood cells. When your oxyen levels go down, your body makes erythropoietin which then causes myeloid cells to make rbc's. In this video, I cover how your body makes rbcs #erythropoiesis #dreldersanatomychannel #cardiovascularsystem #retacrit
Guillain Barre Syndrome
มุมมอง 1869 หลายเดือนก่อน
Guillain-Barre Syndrome is an autoimmune, demyelinating condition that usually occurs after a respiratory or GI infection. The body makes antibodies to attack the offending bacteria or viruses. The same antibodies mistake molecules on the myelin or nodes of Ranvier foreign substances and attacks them. This leads to temporary paralysis of the limbs. #guillainbarresyndrome #dreldersanatomychannel...

Great video! What's in the stucture of the pacinian corpuscles that makes them good at detecting high frequency vibrations? Is that because of the 60 layers? Why is that?
شرح رائع وواضح جداً، شكراً لك سعادة البروف.
I definitely needed this, thank you so much for making this 🙏🏻 I was trying to find the explanation of the connection between SAN and AVN but believe me, I DIDN’T FIND A SINGLE VIDEO. Doctor I’m very grateful to you
Thank You Dr Elder for this informative video! Nearly 3 years ago I developed vertical double vision which progressively worsened. Through MRI was diagnosed with a rare Trochlear Schwannoma. After visits to Mayo Clinic and Barnes in St Louis, I have been told that the location adjacent to the brain stem makes surgery impossible and radiation very dangerous. I was sent home to tackle on my own with diet and natural remedies. The tumor which double in size from MRI 1 to MRI 2 has now been dormant and unchanged for MRI 3 and MRI 4. Have you heard of any natural approaches to shrinking a schwannoma? I'm very blessed for the growth to have stopped but am interested in reversing the process.
i watched this 24 times
I'm 70 yrs old and years ago I got vertigo. They took a brain scan and found I was missing just a part of my corpus callous. My mom did drink so fetal alcohol syndrome sounds about right. I was also born with MRKH. Could this also be a symtom of this?
My sister has this disease. She has really suffered
great lecture sir .... the only thing which i am not sure of is that i think the calcium enters the hair cells from the sides and not the tips

Your thoughtfulness and thoroughness contributed to speeding up my healing process. I wonder what could have become of me if you weren't the one who handled my case . Thank you for curing my HSV2 #DrAdigba…
Thank you very much sir that was quite interesting and lucrative 🤔
شكرا جزيلا لك❤
but why does the cell allow it to hyperpolarize. If the cell is at equilibrium conditons now (Na gates closed and K gates open) shouldn,t it go back to the equilibrium pottential? Is it something to do with increased permeability of the cell to pottasium now?
Had a brain eating amoeba once, poor fella died of hungary
Thanks Dr.Elder, could you please explain a little bit more how the myelin sheath or the nodes of Ranvier speed up the transport of action potential? Thank you!
Sure… I have a video on it th-cam.com/video/J3yzz2wOVgc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=O0ihMubFWt9riGsS

It’s awful. I have it…
It must be terrible. I am so sorry for you or anyone else suffering from this
@@DrEldersAnatomyChannel yes, in the last 8 months I’ve been diagnosed with Ataxia, and Alzheimer (mild) too. I’m 75 and stressed. Finding a Movement Specialist Neurologist isn’t easy. When you do they are booked out 7-8 months. I haven’t seen one yet, but I have an appointment in September with one, and Feb 2025 with another. I applied to Mayo, but they turned me down…
What part does Calcitonin play, please?
Most welcome! Thank you - someone needs to be aware!!

How to prevent already incread this occipital bone?
You can’t
Great explanation, thank you doctor
You are welcome
Thank you for this. I had one removed from my chest 15 years ago it was the size of a softball. It had pressed against the upper part of my left lung. The surgeon said it was attached to the Vegas nerve. I have had a cough this whole time. In addition it is like it goes through cycles of having issues with my legs, then that stops and I have pains in my back for a bit, then it is my feet and so on and on different parts of my body has pain, tingling or something to let me know it is there. The surgeon said that it was very possible that it damaged the nerve
Amazing explanation, thank you.
Does this tract not have a 3rd order neuron?
No.3rd order are in tracts in the cerebrum
Thank you doctor. you've made it easy for me to understand the Auditory system. God bless you. 🙏.

I have a facial nerve neuroma that has erodid part of my masdoid bone and ear canal, blocking the ear canal. I have mild hearing loss as a result. I at present have no symptoms to do with the face. They can not remove it as very lightly will cause facial palsy and would cause some symptoms of the face. Its very rare that they can remove it. Every persons situation is different.
I don’t even read my book no more, I just watch these videos.
Really helpful and so clear thank you so much 🤍
