@@VirtualGhost27 this vid was recorded before we had brought the ls2, but because we had no audio I didn’t no weather to put the vid out or not. In the end I just made this vid and put it out instead of deleting the footage. He still loves his lid. He keeps asking when I can get the topbox fitted to the new bike (can’t get the plate till mid November) so he can come back out again.

Bought a 2023 Moto Guzzi V100S Mandello. Amazing bike, 22k km and no problems.

Triumph Tiger Alpine repairs included replacing main wiring harness (twice), starter, solenoid (twice), INS module, front brake rotors and pads, bleeding rear brake, stator coils, regulator/rectifier, and battery. All in first year and a half.

@@martinhughes9769 I have released a second vid on the bike and there is some useful info in it about the height of the bike. Yes the service cost are very high. I thought the Honda price was bad but the triumph cost is nearly double that. That’s if you go to a main dealer 😜

@@MyJoel333 I didn’t give the exact mileage. I have use of other vehicles so was averaging 6/7k a year on this bike.

@@davewash50 do you mind me asking what the reasons where for switching to the 900? Iv brought a 22mm bar to replace the plastic bar across the screen. If that doesn’t work then I’ll defo look into the evo tech mount as everyone has said about that one.

@@cartzwheels I had a lot of problems with stalling, which is now sorted. This caused me to have a fall whilst crossing a ford and had to have my left knee rebuilt!! So I switched back to the 900 for lightness. The 12 was a fabulous ride though, just a shame the issues spoiled it. Triumph have now fixed the issues but I do love my 900 Rally Pro.

@@davewash50 I have read up on the stalls problem. Before I purchased I was watching people ride off road and was watching it stall all the time. Must admit I am a little worried about it but we will see how it goes. The 900 is an amazing bike. I test ride the 900 gt pro and fell in love with it.

@@cartzwheels Couldn't agree more. Really nice guy! Currently waiting to find out if my 660 is a write off or not after someone pulled out on me a couple of weeks back. If she does get written off I am considering hitting Rich up for one of these. They're pricey but with everything that comes as standard on the pro it feels like pretty good value tbf. Ride safe! :)

@@PicosPaul1979 my plan is to put the trail max raids back on next year. I have other things I need to buy first and seeing as it’s a brand new rear I’ll get some good miles under my belt first.

@@cartzwheels yea understandable. I put the raids on for picos for the trail. Still got the karoos as a backups as theirs still plenty of meat left on them. We need to see you all out on a big tour next year on it

@@cartzwheels nice looking bike I also like the Africa twin what model year was it was it ride by wire and if so is there an aftermarket cruise control. I had a 67 plate that’s all I could fault it on was lack of cruise.

@@deanwelsh5702 I had the 2019 Africa twin 1000. I believe it was a ride by wire. I tried a knock off version of the atlas lock but it was useless.

@@martintin250 I think you get that with every bike manufacturer. I know a few people who have had major problems with Africa twins. I was lucky to have such a great machine. Hopefully the triumph won’t let me down.

Nice bike fella we just gone from a tracer 9gt to a 23 Africa twin over a month ago can't wait for the long adventures,enjoy it and don't listen to the negatives.subbed and good look.

@@elvisthewart670 thank you. Haha I went from the tracer 900 to the Africa twin. It was the best thing I ever done. The Africa twin is hands down one of the best bikes on the market. It has brought me so many amazing adventures and memories. If I could have afforded to keep it and get a new bike I would have. Hardest decision ever to get rid of it.

@@WheelieGood-el2br I’d love to go and tour around Norway. Iv wanted to do it for years since watching a specific series. It was a very hard decision to decide what to replace her with and I hope Iv made a good decision. Good luck shopping around and I’m sure you will find something soon. 💪🏻

@@cartzwheels rider aids are not good but the choice is yours I am 62 enjoy-hope it works enjoy

@@rockbiterhd I agree to an extent. Rider aids do take away a lot from riding. I started out on a 2002 gsxr 600 which didn’t have anything on it. I learnt a lot from riding that bike, but that being said without have some rider aids now there would be a lot more accidents. Just my honest opinion.

@@davidmatthews3093 I never ment basic in that way. I meant it in because it’s the 1000cc it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles. Only TC and ABS. Compared to the tiger which has everything you can think of on it. I loved my Africa twin and if I could have afforded to keep both I would without a doubt.

@@cartzwheels my 900 was a great bike and had no issues at all. I did have a look at the 1200 but just too tall for me. You got it in the best colour too.

@@wraggy_moto yeah I love the colour scheme of it. It is a very tall bike, but rich from Birmingham east showed me a nice feature that lowers the bike a further 10mm whilst under 40mph. I’ll explain more in the first ride vid.
