I have a 740i sport and am doing the same job and just wondering the easiest way to get the new vanos seals in the gears mine just end up getting stuck down farther then the spot they should fit into i ended up ruining a few rings in the process, just wondering the easiest way

I own an 88 an i just rebuilt the entire top end of the motor it runs really well, its the coolest project car ive ever picked up, and unfortunetly the most expensive. Yours sounds really good congradulations :)

I miss my 735il, mines seemed faster then this, it was stock except for a new exhaust and new suspension and transmission by the previous owner

I got 6.7 on sport mode with my 735 I believe it has been chipped though by the previous owner

If it has a manual and its an M50, it'll be worth that easy.

To put it simply I just forgot to change it to Sport!

Why do you have it in economy drive? Why not put it into sport mode if your going to do a speed test???

I got mine down to 6.5 shifting manually on the auto transmission and with a good launch, these cars are powerfull for theyre weight and age!

I have e32 '88 with m equipment (sport seats,lower suspension,discs on all four wheels...) but mine is 3.0 engine..

Sorry Mate, but this is my parts car, which I've bought for converting my white 7 series to a manual! Whole car will be striped for parts and the engine + other bits will be for sale.

@ 0:07 Sounds like the engine is struggling when the torque converter locking up. Gotta to love that M30 engine!!!

More modern doesnt necessarily mean better! I prefer the 735i, because its more comfortable, faster, better looking and have much more class!

why did you sell the 1995 e34? it is in many ways the more modern car.

My 735i is using 10 - 11L/100km on the run If it would achieve 13L/100km in city traffic I would be over the moon! : )
