      Hard to say. We didn't do anything to change the photo, but that doesn't necessarily mean it wasn't altered at some point. Personally, I think it's the original photo. But the angle of the camera and quality of photos back then could be making it look a little bigger than it was. Just my .02 - Kyle

      @DontMeanNothin 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      From "The Complete History of the AR-15 Rifle": The original AR-15 model used in the Vietnam War was the Colt Model 601 AR-15. The U.S. military selected Colt to manufacture the M-16, a standard-issue model of the AR-15, for the Vietnam War in 1963. The first M-16 rifles were issued in March 1965. The AR-15 was originally developed in the 1950s for civilian use by Armalite.

    I'm sorry, but from what I've read, centipedes aren't typically dangerous to humans.

    • @DontMeanNothin
      @DontMeanNothin 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      From an article titled "Vietnamese Centipede" by Our Breathing Planet: The Vietnamese Centipede is super venomous. The venom can generate extreme pain, yet its toxin rarely causes life-threatening reactions. This particular species of centipede represents the only one to have a human fatality attributed to a bite (or maybe to allergic reaction).

      MACVSOG operations were carried out in Cambodia and Laos from staging locations in Vietnam. There were a lot of orangutans in Laos, and though they are now in Borneo and Sumatra as @rickbecler7268 pointed out, over half a century ago they absolutely could have been and likely were still in Laos.

    I am not by any means setting up an equal comparison, but from the first time that I landed in Kuwait into Iraq, the smell of crap was always present. One leaned to get used to it of course, but when the plane landed in Dover, the contrast was astounding! We can't appreciate America enough. Open garbage piles and human feces do not permeate a community. God has blessed us in our country. We have also been blessed with the finest warriors in the world. How does one thank them enough??
